We had a complete gut and renovation of our basement. From Day 1 we were very satisfied with the professionalism with Josh and Alvaros team.

We had a dated basement that was not in code and they completed overhauled the basement and made it into beautiful, usable space.

Highlights of the project included a new bathroom, laundry room, staircase and custom cabinet and insulation to eliminate humidity.

There were a couple of unexpected issues that came up during the project and they discussed different options and were open and honest with us.

I would not hesitate to use them again.

Since I don't speak English very well, they were very patient in answering all my questions. Any emergencies that arose, they came right over to take care of it.

We hired Josh and his team to do a entire renovation and couldnt be happier. There attention to every detail is unbelievable and they go above and beyond. They were honest, on time and had great ideas. Not one thing was unnoticed . His team was a true pleasure to work with.

We found Level Custom Build through HomeStars and Josh impressed us from the very first meeting when we discussed project scope and estimate. This is the first renovation we've tackled since buying our home, and we started with a bathroom renovation - totally gutted the space and reconfigured to make it more functional for our young kids. We were SO impressed with the whole team - Josh, Al, Jamal and the various trades that came in for plumbing, electrical and tile. They were very respectful of our space, friendly, professional and did a great job. They outlined a clear schedule and budget at the outset of the project and kept us informed if there were any changes (of which there were minimal). We were new to the process so they also gave us expert input to guide our decisions. We are thrilled with our new bathroom and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this team to our family and friends.

Level did an incredible job at both communicating issues, changes and progress to us. Josh was always available to answer our questions and provide reasonable expectations with regards to the timelines and fixture selection as well.

The team Level brought in for the work did a great job as well for keeping Condo management happy by communicating requirements, protecting all surfaces proactively and keeping the workspace neat and clean over the period of work.

We worked with Level Custom Build on a complete renovation of our Kitchen, tiling, and hardwood replacement in the entryway of our home, as well as replacement of the vanity in our master bathroom. Josh, Alvaro, Dmytro, and the whole team were great to work with. A few things that stood out were their speed of execution, responsiveness, customer oriented attitude, and openness to feedback. Whenever any issues or questions arose, they were quick to propose solutions and make it right. We were away on vacation for a week while the renovation was ongoing and they team kept the project moving efficiently and kept us in the loop via frequent updates.

Five contractors responded to my Homestars request. Level Custom Build provided the most detailed quote, indicating they were experienced and they understood the scope of the project.

They worked all day, each day until the job was done, on time and on budget. Joshua provided skilled guidance to his men, their workmanship was excellent, and they did a great job on cleanup at the end.

From start to finish Josh and team were great! I originally had three different quotes from different contractors. Josh wasn't the cheapest, of the bunch but his quote was reasonable for the project.

Josh was flexible enough to let us do some of the work ourselves to keep the costs down. He worked with us to schedule the subcontractors and was super flexible in allowing us time to do our parts

As we started in the middle of the pandemic timelines flexed and expanded so the full project was closer to be around 4 months instead of 6 weeks. That said the sequencing of the subs was painless and working with Josh was easy.

All in all I'm very happy with the quality of work that Josh and his team provided. Our experience was great and we now have a warm and useable space in our basement. The biggest impact in our lives was having our laundry room finished as part of this project. Highly recommend Josh and Al.
