We got a basement rental and the last tenant left because of noise complaints. Especially footsteps and children screaming. So we decided to do the soundproofing in order to keep the next tenant for a bit longer this time. My neighbor shared a phone number of a drywall contractor that he used but was not too pleased with the result, especially for what he paid.

They removed the drywall and used spray foam insulation as a soundproof material then re-drywalled. So I decided to shop around to find out why it didn't work. Some companies couldn't answer this question very well. Some others just wanted to charge me a fortune to do it properly.

Then I called warm cozy cozy. Pascal answered all the questions that I had. He told me that I needed at least an STC of 50 to have good results, and that spray foam with drywall only had about 25. He then advised me to go with the Dense pack and test it out for a week to see how I like it. If needed we could add other things afterwards.
It's been a week now. I wont need anything else. Speech is inaudible, footsteps are like 50% gone. The work was fast and effective. Im happy

My office is above the garage and was pretty hot. I would sweat even though the ac was running non-stop.

I'm very happy with the result. My office is now pretty tempered. The funny thing is that my house was built in the 90s so you would think that the ok insulation is decent.

One of the most important aspects for our recent office renovation was adequate soundproofing for client confidentiality. Rather than tear down walls and start over, which would have been a costly endeavor, our next option was drill & fill insulation, and with Pascals expert recommendations of adding acoustic ceiling tiles, automatic door sweeps, and duct sleeves, I am very excited to say that the outcome of the work has gone beyond expectations. The only down side was the mess. When we were told it would be messy they weren't joking, but a quick vacuum and all was good.

The icing on the proverbial cake was the service. Not only did they correct some issues with the existing drywall, but Pascal returned at a later date to finish up a couple of small items that couldn't be completed because of delays created by other trades. He also took the time to fix another issue we found.

Our renovation had some unfortunate nightmares however, this part of the work was done on time, on budget, and with excellent service.

We used Wam Cozy Cozy to perform the following:

1. Two attics required a change and top up to blown in cellulose insulation; which brought us to the correct R value.
2. Soffit baffles installed (for the square footage) 6 on the lower and 6 on the upper, 12 in total
3. Two attic doors insulated with ridged form board
4. Three knee walls insulated

2. After the first job as completed we had them come back to back to do the upper floor in garage which required additional work as the insulation in that area was dated pre-1979. We had Warm Cozy Cozy perform high desense-packed cellulose insulation to correct the issue.

I had some additional questions that came up after the end of the first job. Pascal crew stopped by and answered them promptly without delay - which was a great after service which I appreciated. The crew was very knowledgeable, cleaned up any mess, and was great to deal with. I was very impressed and would use them again! It was great dealing with everyone. We have seen massive energy savings so we are happy!

Had the cellulose soundproofing done. There were some issues after the installation. The owner, Pascal, came to my house personally to check and see how the issue can be resolved.
