I was very pleased with the work that Kyle did, from the first visit during which he gave me his estimate to the final one to finish attaching some clips. He ran wiring across the inside of the house to instal an EV charger in my garage and upgraded my electrical service to 200 amps with a new fuse box. Everything was cleaned when he left. A very efficient and contentious worker, I highly recommend him.

Kyle from KV Bear did great work rewiring our 1913 home and upgrading our fuse box to a breaker panel. Kyle is straight forward and transparent about the extent of work. Throughout the work he maintained communication and kept us informed daily of the work completed. For our home, he was able to work through and present us with options when unexpected issues came up (our home had many quirks!!).

We had a few issues with LED lights flickering badly in our home and also had concerns about partial aluminum wiring.

Kyle came by to run some diagnostics and to troubleshoot the issue. He spent a good amount of time at our place running down where aluminum wiring may have been routed, and doing some inspections on lights and switches. During this, he fixed a couple of issues as he saw them as well. We immediately got peace of mind once we found out that the affected areas seemed to be all good. We then went on to get some other work done.

On the second visit, we replaced 4 LED lights, one bathroom fan, and installed a couple dimmer switches. We couldn't be happier with Kyle's service - he's friendly, explains things as he goes, and gives good practical advice along the way. Will definitely reach out again for some additional work in the future.

Kyle did a great job and did it quickly. He coordinated the hydro disconnect as well, making everything super easy for us.

The estimation was given after a very thorough review and the work was done within the estimates - no last-minute surprises.
I was clearly explained of my options and possible outcomes before receiving the estimates. The work began and concluded in the promised amount of time and date.
Even received a certificate of installation after going through the right hoops and securing the permits (none of which I had to get involved in, and was covered in the quoted price).
I now know for sure who I should be reaching out for all future requirements related to electrical work!

Highly recommended. Kyle was personable, timely, efficientand reassuring. Alerted us to a safety hazard and resolved it. Helped arrange and walked us through hydro communications for power cutoff and re-connection to be able to install the new panel.

The entire process through dealing with Kyle was totally professional. We had Kyle install an EV charger in our garage. We thought the job would be complicated because our basement was refinished but Kyle assured us it would not be. The job was completed with no issues or having to repair any drywall. When I went to purchase a new Motion Sensor, we found that our old deck light was installed by a non professional who used indoor wiring to connect the outdoor unit. The guy at Home Depot said it should be replaced with the proper wiring. KV Bear was our choice and it was a good one. Kyle was surprised to see how dangerous this wiring was. He had to follow the wire from outside the house through our new deck and replace all the wiring, the old breaker, light socket, switches etc. He did a superlative job and I am glad I chose him. I have now been able to use my nest cam with the new electrical outlet. Thank you Homestars and thank you Kyle.

Seems there is a wide range of quotes you can get, even when you only call out top rated Electricians. There's many reasons for that, overhead etc. I think most of us just care about 2 things, is this a good qualified electrician and do they charge a reasonable fee? Kyle is both of those! Not only did he ask about half as much as my 1st quote but he even pointed out at least one of the jobs the other quote insisted on, isn't really necessary and explained why. Kyle did great work on rewiring a not so well wired line to a major appliance, as well as a much needed upgrade of our panel from 100A to 200A. Highly recommend!
