Very Impressed

Vaughan

We were so pleased with the work done on cleaning our fireplace. A strong creosote smell was the reason we called Daniel and his father Shy. What a team they are!
The chimney was cleaned past the roof line; ash and debris was removed in a clean and tidy manner. We were given a tutorial at the end on how to maintain our fireplace.
We highly recommend Pro Handy Solutions.

Professional, prompt and personable

I found Pro Handy Solutions based on Homestars reviews. Dan and Dad got back to me right away for a chimney cleaning, which was arranged for the following day. They are very thorough in their cleaning, extremely conscientious about containing the soot, and they are keen to make sure that the homeowner is aware about fire safety and usage efficiency. I had no problems during or after their visit, but I am 100% sure that they would be back in a heartbeat had there been any problem. They take their work seriously and are very nice to deal with.

Chimney Service: Investigate a report of “Chimney not drafting”.

I was remote and the job needed to be done asap. Dan and his Dad answered the call. They provided me an estimate that was comparable to others. Once the quote was approved they were able to the job right away. They sent me photo and video when the job was completed. Excellent job by Dan and his dad.Shared tips for optimal use of our fireplace. Left workspace immaculate. Friendly and honest. Assumed they would automatically charge us top fee as chimney has never been cleaned before, pleasantly surprised when they didnt. On top of all this two very entertaining people who seem to genuinely like their job!

Cleaning of old fireplace and chimney, on short notice

A family duo ("Dan and Dad") were prompt, very thorough and I definitely recommend them. I was particularly impressed by the care they took to enclose the entire area with a plastic tent as they worked, so absolutely no ashes or air borne soot could affect the rest of the house. I was about to have a major party so not having to clean up was a big benefit!

they were the only ones who didn't charge for an estimate, which is rare. They gave an immediate quote to fix some cracks and clean my chimney which hadn't been used in many years and was in rough shape. They were fast and cleaned up great.
