Our bathroom tap in Cornwall was lose and not shutting off. I called this service to fix the bathroom tap. Upon departure, they quoted me $974.00 to REPLACE the bathroom tap. I told them that was outrageous. I called head office to complain, and they promised the supervisor would call me back. No phone return phone call. I had to pay the $154.00 to show up, only to be told the tap needed to be replaced and then quote almost $1000 to replace a simple bathroom tap.

Superior Plumbing & Heating was fantastic. Called them and had an appointment within minutes. We had a shower in the basement with dirty water, and the toilet in the basement was not working. I tried to clean it, but to no avail; so I called Superior Plumbing & Heating. The plumber arrived at the scheduled time and was very competent. He checked for clogs with a snake and a floor reading radar that had a monitor to see underground, he found a broken cast iron pipe under our tub. Reviewed the steps and cost of services. He answered all my questions and gave simple and sound advice. The entire plumbing repair took less than a week, the rest of the non plumbing work will need to be done later. The problem was solved in a quality manner. I would recommend them to anyone!

My water heater was acting up, I called Superior Plumbing and within 1 hour I received a text message and an email that a technician was on his way. Brian was courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. He explained the issue with my water heater clearly and fixed it within a few hours. Now I have hot water again, thank you Brian!

I paid $165.00 for a (persons-not mechanic ) to check out my furnace. so glad to get the guy out of my house- He didn't know what he was doing just spoke a lot of combo jumbo- about this and that- did not test any parts- just looked inside the furnace- and told me I needed a new inducer motor and two new pressure switches- I asked how much will that cost- and somehow- out off the top of his head without calling in , to anyone- says it will cost me $3200.oo - I said are you nuts! I can get a new furnace installed for just over $4000.00 - He was a complete joke- not licensed - no knowledge- Monday I had a reputable company and check out my furnace and had prompt , professional service- the mechanic from another company came tested things told me the motor and switches were fine- yet the hot surge igniter was broken as he took it from the furnace and showed me the crack in the igniter. The igniter cost me$117 with a 95$ service call- - so happy to get guy from Superior out of my house- and happy to have a trustworthy company visit and correct things. Even if I had paid the $3200.00 for parts that were not even broken- the furnace would still not work for the problem was simply the igniter- - don't call them - they are not local -0 there office is in Missisauga and they are a company - preying on people - who are in times of desperation - be it heat or water problems. they don't even deserve 1 star- I want my money back from them- ! Stay clear of this company !

Prompt reply on a Sunday, but that's where the service stopped. Recommended replacement of my intermittently working tankless water heater (admittedly nearing its best before date) with a larger system that barely fit ( the sub contractor had to make some plumbing/exhaust adjustments to make the recommended unit fit) but after the installation the same intermittent hot water problem persisted. Turns out the sharkbite check valve on the air handler was not working. I am told this should have been caught in the diagnostic, which makes sense. Over 2 weeks later and I still only have intermittent hot water (only when air handler is on). I had to call repeatedly to determine that they were having difficulty finding the replacement check valve (which I subsequently found on Amazon). If I had their sub-contractor's name I would use him in the future. I will NOT use Superior in Ottawa ever again. Add the fact that they still went ahead and charged the balance owing for the "work" even though I refused to sign off on the work being completed.
