Hired LPW Roofing in Medicine Hat for an insurance claim. The staff, including the owner were very unprofessional and installed the roof COMPLETELY wrong according to the manufacturers installation guide, therefore, our warranty is void with the shingle company. LPW staff reused shingles, didn’t fill nail holes, cut drip edges short which left wood exposed, overlapped shingles when they are supposed to be flush with each other, , didn’t use enough nails to secure the shingles, installed the starter shingles incorrectly, used damaged shingles, and installed shingles with joints too small, bent flashing and eavestroughs to name a few issues . They left nails and garbage everywhere on our property. They damaged our deck, didn’t sweep up all the granules when they were finished. We hired an independent roof inspector who advised there is so much damage and things wrong that the roof needs to be redone. We have to pay out of pocket for the the roof to be redone the correct way. Please see pictures below of just done if the issues we found.
