Kdell was hired to remove a single driveway for my 84 yr old mother. He took her money did not do the job and after calling many times he assured he would refund the money as he had truck problems, then weeks later disconnected his phone. He also operated under Milton landscaping and Blue Basin. He is a dishonest and preys on elderly, taking seniors money

this company and the owner are dishonest they will promise to do the work take your money then not show up or do a really bad job the address they have on there web page don't exist stay away keep you money go to a reptibable company

Kdell was awesome at bringing our vision to life and making our patio/outdoor living space exactly what we envisioned. He was responsive, patient and wonderful the entire process!!! The work they did was perfection. They made sure every cut and placement of each stone was exactly spot on! I'm so very grateful i went with this company and would recommend to everyone! I injured my hand the week prior to the Jan 17th historic snow event that we received so I couldn't shovel my driveway. I submitted a request in HomeStars for snow removal service and I am so glad Blue Basin came to the rescue. Although there were some miscommunication at the beginning as to when my driveway will be cleared, Blue Basin came through with their promise. I will use them again in the future.

Update: after getting a five star review he stopped showing up. We had a contract written up and still he didn't show. Will not be using again! My old mother had to shovel 20cm of snow, as I was out of the country.

We contacted Kdell for year round service (lawn care and snow removal). We were lookong for seone responsible, that we would not have to chase for service. We got a professional, prompt and reliable service from Kdell. We look forward to using his services in the future. I would highly recommend!

The original review I provided a few months back was prior to the current winter season for snow removal. Since then, like other earlier reviews, Blue Basin owner Kdell has been more than a disappointment. Since the last payment was made for the season at the beginning of January this year, he has been not very responsive to my elderly parent’s contract. I have always had to follow up and ensure that he would arrive in a timely manner to the home to clear the snow. And in many circumstances, he would arrive well after 24 hrs of a snowfall. My parents are in their 90’s and late 80’s and enjoy the fact that they can remain in the home that they have lived in for decades.
Recently (snowfall from Feb 18 & 19) Kdell did not show up to clear the snow from my parents and has not been responded to phone calls and txt messages. I had to go to my parent’s home and clear the snow and the snow plow drift. I again tried multiple times to reach contact him and I received no response. The concern I have is that if there is a situation where there is a medical emergency. The ambulance and paramedics would be hindered, and time lost to support my elderly parents. Every minute counts.
Therefore, I must change the rating for Blue Basin from a 10 to a 1. I don’t recommend Blue Basin for their services.
