The exposed aggregate walk leading to my front door had been losing rocks for the past couple of years and the surface had deteriorated to the point where it really needed to be replaced. I considered the recycled tire resurfacing options but decided a concrete replacement would be better even though it was more expensive.

Caleb came out to give me an estimate in October and I decided to have the work done in the spring when the weather improved. Caleb contacted me in March to arrange a date and between his schedule and mine, the work finally started in June. Caleb did a fantastic job removing the current walk with almost no rocks or concrete fragments left behind (very hard when jackhammering concrete) and installing the new walk.

Since I was working from home, I was able to take the occasional peek as Caleb worked. When he was putting the finishing touches on the surface of the walk, I could see that he took great pride in his work and wanted everything to be perfect. I would not hesitate in hiring him again for another concrete project.

Caleb did a great job replacing a portion of our driveway and garage slab. He also made our garage door openings level which was tricky given the original slope. He has good attention to detail and does what he says he'll do. I wouldn't hesitate to have him do future work

After vetting through five or six other concrete companies, Lucid Concrete Services was hired for my project. Caleb, the owner, was not the lowest cost but he was not the highest cost either. His estimate was extremely reasonable in comparison to some of the other massively inflated estimates ($20+ sqft) from the other companies I contacted.

The job was a concrete patio extension, approximately 430 sqft with a brushed finish. The sod that was on location was previously removed so the project started at the forms/gravel stage and no other real ground/dirt prep was needed.

Caleb completed the job in three days and the outcome looks excellent. Caleb finished everything very nicely, smoothed out any rough spots and kept the job site extremely clean.

From the first day I called Caleb to the last day of the project, he was prompt and kept me up to date. He is extremely respectful and takes the time to finish everything nicely. He was never in a rush; he cares about projects as if they were his own. I wish more tradespeople were like this and I speak from experience as I deal with 10-15 tradespeople a year on various projects across multiple properties!

We needed our patio to be redone: removed, installed new one, extended. We hired Lucid Concrete services as this company already has excellent reviews and the quote was the best. I think Caleb is best contractor what we dealt with so far. We agreed about start day in month ahead. He arrived in time as promised. He has done amazing job. Hired Lucid to remove about 20 feet of sidewalk and installing 300 square feet of stamped concrete patio as well as about 90 feet of fence footings. Caleb was punctual and professional, he met his commitments and stayed on budget. Very happy with the results.

Caleb did outstanding job with our 760 sq ft driveway. He replaced old concrete slab and pour a new one. He also put some gravel along alley. He listened what our concerns are. He has a great customers service, work ethics, very detailed oriented. The job was done within 5 days even though the weather was not that great in the middle of December. Strongly recommend him.
