About the cut tree service

They did a good job to remove a tree for me. They are very professional. When completed, they even cleaned up the chips. I would recommend them if you have a need.

John's communication was great, showed up when he said, and completed the job quickly. I would reach out to his company again.

As expected John and his crew arrived on time. They went straight to work and didn't stop until it was all done. They respected my property and the neighbours shrubbery too. It was a 30 foot pine tree leaning on the neighbours house that needed to be removed. The crew worked carefully to protect the house and it all went off without incident. They cleaned up the area like they were never there. This is the second time we have used John and his crew and highly recommend them for quality work and great prices.

After a removal date was arranged.John and his crew promptly arrived .After a brief introduction to the crew,they promptly setup and began to remove the tree and bushes.They were extremley hard workers who cleaned up the entire property when the job was finished.I highly recommend about the cut forany similar job you have.I will hire them in a heartbeat if I need them again.

The business owner, John, returned my call promptly, came out to assess the job and gave me a quote the next day. They were able to start the job 4 days later. His team of 5 did the work in a day. His quote was extremely reasonable compared to the two other quotes I got.
The service was friendly and professional. They showed up on time. I had a large spruce removed and the canopy of a large silver maple thinned.
They worked closely with me to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction and accommodated special requests.

John came out the same day I called- for a visual check and a quote. He was very confident in his guys being able to prune/cut back our large maple, and giant swamp willow. The Crew showed up on time and were efficient, professional, and they checked in with me from time to time making sure I was satisfied with the progress they were making. They addressed any concerns I had, and answered any questions. They chipped all of the branches, cleaned up the yard, and cut and piled all of the extra wood on the boulevard. We called About the Cut on a Friday and John called back within 5 minutes, came to give us a quote within a few hours, provided a quote on-site and scheduled our service within a few days.

John and his crew were punctual, they worked their tails off ALL day (we didnt expect them to plow through, but they did) and they left our back yard - and our neighbours - so clean. Look at the after photo I have included. They left everything so neat!!

About the Cut was half the cost of one of his competitors, but they are extremely professional, they have insurance and its very clear that the workers have experience and pride in what they do. There is nothing No-Frills about the work they do.

I hope I never have to spend thousands of dollars on tree removal ever again, but if I did, Id go straight back to About the Cut.

John and his crew pruned my two maple trees in my back yard this month. Both trees are over 40 years old, significantly taller than my two story house, with many limbs overhanging the roof, fence, and shed. The job was done professionally and safely (harness, ropes, teathered chain saw....). They were also very understanding to our pruning concerns, and neighbours enquires with respect to sight lines, elevating the canopies, and removing branches which overhung the roof. They explained to us what they were doing, and checked in from time to time. They did a great job! Looking forward to seeing the trees filling out again in the spring.
