Enbridge was changing meters in our neighborhood, so our appointment was set. Unfortunately, during the replacement , the worker found a leak. He did find 2 small ones and corrected them, unfortunately, he was still detecting a leak at the meter. He red tagged us and unhooked the meter, totally un hooked the meter. He told us what needed to be done and pointed us in the direction of Homestars. I jumped on and put in a request, with a quick response from Modern Home Energy. After a little research and calling back Jim, he was at my house in 30mins or less. I was very happy with my choice. Jim was very personable, professional knowledgeable and thorough. Upon finding out we have not used the outside line for the BBQ (we use tanks) nor our gas fireplace, he offered to cap them off for us. In doing so he found a small part of pipe that was loose and possible a small issue. After doing his checks of all areas where we have gas lines being used, he detected there were no leaks.

He was explained everything he did and gave some tips.

Jim was very informative and upfront about the work that needed to be done, and the additional extra things to better the A/C system. System back up and running well, and I will continue to go to Jim for future needs.

We also contacted Jim at Modern Home Energy Inc for emergency service as our furnance at a ho.e we were selling had stopped working. He was there within a couple hours diagnosed and fixed the furnance. So thankful zs our cliding date on the sale was only two days awsy. It was such a relief.
