Replace cement window sills for 100 yr old house. Sills were custom size and no longer available. J&D suggested two options a thinner sill that is made but would have to scab in brick to fill in the gap or get a custom sill that would be two pieces with a joint in the middle. They suggested the two piece sill with a joint in the middle would be the better looking of the two options but would cost more. J&D quote was the middle of the road even with the custom sills. The others did not quote any custom sills and it was the same price. So I went with the two piece custom sills. It took time for the sills to be made. Once available J&D installed them and did a good job. Communication could have been better but they did what they said they would do for the agreed upon price so no complaints.
