Erin took my call and booked my appointment and within 24 hours I received a call from Raul confirming the appointment. Both Raul and Erin are polite, and skilled at their jobs.

I had a soffit that was barely hanging there; Raul not only re-attached the soffit, but he made sure to secure another soffit to ensure the problem does not re-appear.

Our new fridge would not fit under the current cupboard due to the size of the exterior hinges. We needed the cupboard to be raised, including the doors (shaker style) to be adjusted. My Home Handyman responded within days and were able to give a rough estimate over the phone. When we hired them, Thanh came quickly, assessed the project and gave us a firm estimate. His work was outstanding. Although it took longer than expected, the delays were due to his conscientiousness of quality, unexpected construction issues and paint drying. He cleaned immaculately after each visit and was prompt in communicating with us. at every step. Would definitely contact this company again for large and small home projects!

When I first made my inquiry, My Home Handyman was very quick to respond, to follow up and to offer alternate solutions to me. I had a very large couch that would not fit in the elevator, so I called to inquire about having it taken apart and moved. This turned out not to be an option.
But while talking with Erin, I learned that there was someone there that was a professional mover. She put me in touch with Arron, who promptly called me back and we worked out a plan. we wanted to replace an old unworkable gate at my daughter as a surprise for her birthday. Called handy man and arranged the project. never did get the name of the contractor but are very happy with the project and the individual. He is friendly and pleasant. What else could I say.

I called Home Handyman as I was not sure who else to call for a repair to our shower sweeper. Ton arrived. He was great and got the job done quickly and efficiently. He did some caulking for us as well as a few other things around the house. He was very professional, friendly and very thorough. I would highly recommend this company and Ton.

We had a shower re-grouted. The fellow that came to do this for us was very personable and knowledgeable with respect to techniques, products, etc.. Our understanding was that the return visit was basically to help get the glass panel back in place and do some siliconing. He had expected to complete the job in one day but it appeared that the old grout removal took a fair bit longer than he expected. This made for a very long day, as he then started applying the new grout late in the afternoon. He returned with the required silicon and more grout that we had requested for touch ups, and helped us with the glass panel. We chose to do the finishing ourselves as we had already done 3 hours of scraping and cleaning as we were not happy with the appearance of the grouting. It was uneven and a lot of haze or grout was left on the surface of the tile. The corners were nowhere near square and some spots had no grout at all. We’re quite particular about the look of the finished product. We knew we could complete the job to our satisfaction, and weren’t sure how it would end up otherwise based on what we had already seen and done to clean it up.
Essentially we were reluctant to let him finish because of the quality of the finish.

Very good work. Arrived on time, wore a mask throughout, removed shoes 7 -8 times, although was told not to bother. Expected 30 - 40 minutes duration, took a full hour to complete, working diligently. Had his own vacuum, to clean up small amount of plaster dust afterwards. A simple project, am quite satisfied with the caliber of work, expect it to serve us well for many years to come, without any problems.

Quote was more than 50% above expectations, but was accepted due to time constraints. A $250.00 labor charge for one hour of carpentry work is excessive, in my mind.

Had my credit card available in my pocket, to settle up. Was surprised when Robin gathered his tools, bid good day, and departed. An invoice was received by e mail shortly thereafter, with a reminder about one half hour later payment was due that same day. Account could have been settled then and there, while still on the premises.
