Kevin is a professional and craftsman of the highest standard, with an attention to detail that is remarkable. We needed some complex interior renovations in our 1902 home as a result of removing an old woodburning stove, involving refinishing the ceilings, repairing vintage wood flooring, restoring and repainting walls, and rewiring for modern pot lights. As is often the case with an older home, there were some surprises as we went along, including the need to reinforce a support wall and restoring an original skylight that hadn't been touched in 50 years. Kevin handled the project with great care and professionalism, and we are very happy with the result. We are planning to use his services again and would highly recommend, especially for projects in older homes.

Kevin booked immediately to review the scope of work and came right in the next day to perform the installation. Top notch assessment of the situation backed by years of experience - Kevin cleanly took out the wall section and ran the ducting through with great attention to detail including treatment of the siding, sealing/foaming, caulking, vapour barrier, etc, and refinished the drywall super cleanly. Great pro job and I look forward to contracting with Kevin again on other projects we have lined up.

Kevin did a great job installing new baseboard and repairing some drywall. All the work was professionally completed and work areas were left clean. The whole process from quote to job completion went very well. I will definitely call Housecalls next time there’s a need.

Started with getting leak/hole fixed in ceiling but quickly grew and ended up renovating all bathrooms, living room, dining room and front hall. Work included removing popcorn ceilings, adding/replacing light fixtures/fans, running speaker wires through ceiling, all new fixtures, floors, painting, etc. Kevin did a great job and got along with everybody. Still considering doing a kitchen reno in the future ...

The flooring in the cabinet was moldy due to a leak in the sink.

Kevin removed the flooring that was moldy and replaced it with anew plywood.

He did an exceptional job. He arrived on time and he left the place looking tidy.

Contacted home stars as I had previous use for a plumber which worked great. Kevin responded very quickly and was the only one to do so. Guess the job was not big enough. He was on time as promised and quickly made the repairs. His work is very good and is very personable and showed me and explained what he was doing, which was greatly appreciated. Contacted Kevin to take down 2 ceiling fans and replace them with light fixtures. He was professional, friendly and extremely competent. He ran into a few snags and solved them asap. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend him for your next Housecall.
