Main floor renovation

When we were looking at contractors to complete our main floor renovation we were drawn to the good reviews posted by past clients of Right Choice Renos. After meeting Sean it became clear why, Sean with his easy going personality makes you feel like a close friend. With his vast knowledge and open and honest communication about how to go about our renovations to maximize the potential and minimize the cost it was an easy decision to go with Right Choice Renos. They were recently awarded Home Stars best of award for best in Ontario Contractor, it is well deserved. Our Renos turned out stunning, we will be definitely using Right Choice Renos again in the future.

Home Renovation

General Contractors review in Oshawa

My husband and I initially hired another company to do our home renovation but due to unforeseen circumstances it did not work out.
Sean from Right Choice Renos (RCR) stepped in, assessed our needs and devised a budget friendly plan for our renovation.
Living in our home during this renovation with our pet was my biggest concern however it turned out to be surprisedly pleasant. The team were so considerate arriving on time every day with a smile on their face. I remember Sean saying that "RCR tries to make their renovations as painless as possible for the homeowners" Believe me they were true to their word.
The transformation to our home and the quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations. Also, Sean's guidance on design decisions was invaluable.
We would highly definitely recommend this company and look forward to their return in 2024 for our bathroom and basement renovations.

The extensive scope of work included a kitchen upgrade, removal of popcorn ceilings throughout the entire home, installation of new doors, hinges, handles, baseboards, trim, crown molding, two new solid oak staircases with railings and spindles, new attic insulation, spray foam for skylights, new hickory hardwood flooring, pot lights, and much more.

Amazing work

Havelock

Took a tiny uneven bathroom and made it into the most luxurious room in the house. Gave me everything I asked for an more. There was lots of issues that come with a century house but they where over come and it's glorious. Next up is the kitchen overhaul in the new year. Cant wait. These guys are great. Highly recommend.

Basement Renovation

RCR recently finished our basement for us - we added a family room, office, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. When he started, Sean assured me that he would be finished by the first week in December, which was an important deadline for us. As it happened the RCR team were completed by the first week of November. The quality of the finishes are excellent, he was ahead of time, on budget, and no surprises. It was a pleasure to have the RCR team working in our home - polite, respectful, clean and tidy. I highly recommend this company if you are considering a renovation.

Kitchen Renovation

When I accepted a job in the USA I started looking for a contractor for a much needed Kitchen Renovation. Sean was the only one that was confident that he could meet my very strict timeline, and my budget. There were absolutely 0 surprises that came up during my renovation. His employees were on time, professional, and worked hard all day, then cleaned up well before they left for the day. Sean was easy to reach and very easy to work with throughout the whole process, and when he said he was done, there were NO deficiencies that I could point out. When he said he was done, everything was done; and I mean everything was done! I absolutely would hire him again if I still lived in the area.

Bathroom Renovation

RCR gutted our main ensuite, removing the old shower, jacuzzi and vanity. They proceeded to build a beautiful modern tiled bathroom with a larger shower, new bathtub and vanity. All stages of the renovation were handled with the highest professionalism and courtesy. We always knew when RCR was coming and what the plan was. All workmanship was top notch and completed in a timely fashion. All workers showed a great attention to detail and quality, and addressed any and all questions we had. Best of all, Sean and Brad are genuinely nice people, friendly and completely trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

Shower Rebuild

We are extremely pleased with our shower rebuild. When Sean previewed the job he was very informative. He offered suggestions and answered all of our questions. The Right-Choice crew were fantastic they worked quickly and efficiently. At the end of each day the house was left clean and all equipment was stored neatly. We feel that our home was respected by everyone who worked on this job.
