Jakub and his team were consummate professionals and we could not be more pleased with their work. Inside Guys arrived on time, communicated well, kept job site exceptionally clean and organized and completed the job so as to exceed expectations. These guys are hard workers who really know their craft. In addition to re-doing the concrete floor, Jakub gave us some good ideas to better address walls and plumbing and generally create extra space and improved aesthetics in what is a near original basement in a century old home. I have previously used INSIDE GUYS to underpinned, lower, and waterproof my basement. They did an excellent job. An excellent experience!

Jakub and his crew lowered the basement floor of my 100 year old semi by about 18" and added a new front walkout stair. They also installed a steel frame (engineered by others) to remove an interior structural wall. The work included new floor drains, sewer backflow preventer, sump pump, and interior waterproofing. Jakub also coordinated with an in-floor heating installer before pouring the new concrete floor slab.

Jakub was at all times easy to reach and quick to respond. He provided a detailed cost breakdown with some optional extras (like the backflow valve) and there were no surprises with the final cost.

My general contractor (working on the overall house renovation of which this was a part) said Inside Guys did some of the best underpinning work he'd seen -- and I trust his judgement! In particular, he was impressed with the crew's professional attitude and care when it came to keeping the site and surroundings clean and orderly. He also said that they did a remarkably good job on the slab pour, which we are polishing and leaving exposed as the finished basement floor.

The project was to underpin a 1903 Victorian semi-detached home by 38 to achieve a finished 8 ceiling. The business owners provided a detailed quote, kept to the schedule that was negotiated, provided a cleaning service to keep dust down, all employees courteous and left the basement clean. Any issues we had due to underpinning in the winter were resolved promptly.
This is a great team to work with even if youre a first time renovator. My advice is to go with them!

This family-run business, with principle contact Jakub, operated at such a high level of professionalism that my family couldn't stop raving about them. They are expert communicators, answering the phone promptly and always ready to make an on-site visit if required. They worked hard, took great care and showed a respect for our space, leaving it clean every night. Unbeknownst to us, their cost even included a house cleaner who came once a week to ensure there wasn't much dust. Unbelievable! They finished the project on time, on budget. We are incredibly impressed.
