They are unprofessional and you end up paying double than what they quote as you pay by the hour. They came to our place and saw the stairs, the rooms, the furniture, etc. and quoted 6 hours - It ended up taking them 11.5 hours.
We hired them for a long-distances move and needed storage in between for 2 weeks. The only reason we hired them was because they have their own storage while with others we would have had to arrange that. Their hourly rate is the same as others so if you don't need storage just hire someone else. This must be the lowest possible service you can get when hiring movers.
Everything that could possibly go wrong during a move, went wrong. Here just a few things:
- they arrived very late both times
- movers didn't wear masks both times
- they kept asking me how to take furniture apart and how to move it while I expected them to know as they were supposed to be professional movers
- they broke one of our closets completely as they decided to move it assembled instead of taking it apart. We were never compensated for that closet
- 4 other pieces of furniture ended up scratched and dented
- they didn't bring a tool kit when they delivered our furniture and I had to give them a lift to Home Depot to buy tools so they could actuallly do their job...
- they didn't bring all our stuff and didn't even know what was missing and still in their storage. They asked us to tell them what's missing and brought a few things 2 days later. We are still missing stuff (one month later) as we continue to unpack.
If anything goes wrong there is no reasoning with them. It's just all non-sense excuses, false promises, twisting your words and back and forth. In the end they just tired us out, we paid and moved on. I would not want anyone else to risk to have a simliar experience, just book with someone else.
