Davis Fences

In spring 2022 we had Davis Fences instal a 6 wood privacy fence, connected to a 5 iron fence to enclose our front and side yard. We also had a few gates installed. The entire process, from contacting Nicole and Bree in the office, to meeting Alex for a quote, to the prompt, friendly & professional service that the building team brought, was incredible. We have had so many compliments on our fence I cant even count. We cant say enough good things about this company. We have hired them back to do more work with privacy screens and we will continue to reach out to them again if we ever need another fence or gate. The service, quality, care and craftsmanship are all top notch.

Davis Fences completed about 245 ft of fence including 2 gates. The issue I have is that our neighbour called them back 2 years later to continue their side. Davis Fences built my neighbour an 8 ft fence which goes against by-law in Hamilton. When they built my fence and I asked that the side fence line up in height with the back fence in height I was told it was over 6.5 ft and over code. There was a height discrepancy and we felt that raising the side fence a few inches would make it visually better. I was always told No. However, my neighbour was allowed an 8 ft fence which Davis Fences built for them. It seems like they have different rules for different people. I was very disappointed that Davis Fences would do that and that they wouldnt follow by-law in a residential area. An 8 ft fence between neighbours is just so tall. I understand that people want privacy but 8 ft is too high. I question why a fence company would go against by-law by 1.5 ft. There is a reason for by-laws but it seems that rules do not apply to them. Davis Fences should be contacted by the City of Hamilton for their part.

Our new fences installed by Davis Fences are fantastic. From the initial quote to the final paper work, all was done in a timely, friendly and easy fashion. Brianne and Nicole in the office were very nice and quick to respond. Our installers, Karl and Amie were considerate, listened to our concerns and amalgamated our wishes into the install. We are very pleased with their workmanship and it certainly measured up to our high standards. We highly recommend Davis Fences.

The initial quote process was incredibly easy and safe considering the current pandemic. The staff and their friendly attitudes was the reason we choose them. They were all so kind and very professional. Once the on site crew showed up, we were even more impressed. Very very nice crew, really professional, quality workmanship and they were so so so willing to make us happy. Will definitely use again and recommend.

Called Davis Fence and Brianne responded with a quote. Price was great, we booked, they came exactly on the day she said they would. Even calling a week prior to remind me. The crew was professional, friendly, tidy, followed social distancing (COVID), I have not a single complaint. Really happy with there services. Job was small (two gates and fence enclosure on either side of home) and they didn't treat it as such. Made me feel like I was there only client. Kudos, Davis Fence and crew!!!

We were impressed not only by the quality of wood fence but by the high standard installation. While they were here they were very quiet and very neat and tidy. It took them 3 days to install 155' of wood fence , mind you the weather was beautifully favourable.
The boss responded to all e-mails promptly .
