HF Kitchen Renos

I pay him a deposit of 50% (550cdn) to make my small kitchen cabinet in the basement, he told me it will be done max in 2 weeks. He keep saying i am late, busy etc. I give him a due date and he didn't reply. I am giving the work to others because i have tenant ready to move in, i already lost one month in rent. I ask a refund but still no answer.
