I reached out to Derek on the Monday of a long weekend to ask about connecting a gas line in our finished basement. He was over in a few hours the same day and assessed our property for the quote. I had asked several other techs for the same service and didn't get satisfactory responses from them.

Derek confirmed our quote and provided professional advice in getting a complex job done. He was knowledgeable on fire code requirements and also went over several options with us.

3 days later, Derek and Mark came to our property for the install, which took a long full day. I reviewed their work and was delighted to see they had done a tremendous job. Very clean and professionally done.

I would recommend Derek and his team for any general contracting/HVAC work.

I reached out to Mark and Derek to have my American standard AC unit serviced and ready for summer. They were extremely professional, very thorough and, explained everything in great detail that I wanted to know. Overall I chose this company from the American standard website as a preferred dealer and, now I understand why there are preferred dealer. They do outstanding work.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received from Mark and Derek. I spoke to Mark in the morning and my pool heater was up and running by the evening!! They came exactly when they told me they would and there were no hidden costs when I got the bill. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them to anyone with heating or air conditioning needs.

We had an issue with our air handler not blowing hot or cold air throughout the house but the system seemed to be running. Within the hour of creating a HomeStars request, Derek contacted me and tried to help diagnose it over the phone. He fit me into his schedule the following day for a diagnostic even though I was far out of his location. He took a look at it, but my air handler started running fine once he arrived. He was very knowledgeable about my HVAC system. I was very pleased with the customer service and will definitely call in the future if I ever need service for my HVAC.

I had a problem with attic ventilation. Mark and Derek visited my house, inspected the attic thoroughly not only for ventilation, they also send me pictures of other things that they saw. They did the job on the spot, hassle free and I have peace of mind. Thank you Mark and Derek, appreciate your honest opinions.

We had our boiler blow up in the middle of the winter and Rivercroft quoted a new high efficiency combo unit immediately and installed the following weekend. They were very efficient considering the time constraints and cold weather. They also had to run some new lines to our addition and install a couple rads. Derek has always been very responsive and informative in all our correspondences. They have done a thorough job and if anything wasn’t quite right they returned immediately to resolve the issue. They are very tidy while working, wearing shoe coverings, laying drop cloths and their pipe work is laid out thoughtfully.

They did a completely thorough job and even showed me the video from the roof, where the lint was flying out. I’d hire them again in a minute and have already recommended them to neighbours.

Our AC broke during the hottest week in July! Mark was able to fit us in the same day, and came back to replace the broken part after 8pm that evening.
They were Very efficient, extremely professional and very easy to communicate with.

This review is long overdue, thanks to COVID, but we had a great experience with Mark for fixing our dryer. Mark was super responsive and extremely helpful and made 100% sure the fix was complete and came back the next day to make sure. We got the referral from Burlington Dads and are so happy we called. We will definitely call on them again if we need anything else.
