Family Waterproofing

John started with an estimate of $5000 which was attractive given the prospect I got from other contractors. We drawn clear specifications from day one. The project was to be completed within 3 days as per his estimate. It took 3 weeks and not finished. As we go he was asking for more money. We end up at $12,000. No clear project management and the final quality was just disappointing. He asked for half deposit initially. Folks who do a great job usually ask to pay them upon completion. This should have been a warning sign but I was naive to say the least given the smooth talk he use everyday. Never work with this company.
