He won't answer calls and he hasn't finish installing the roof vents . Won't recommend him and be careful

Paid 7000 thousand for roof leaks less than one year he doesn't respond to my calls over 2 weeks to fix the leak .Bad roofer

I hired them for a new roof, with a 9x12 pitch. They were friendly and easy to deal with, I spoke with them about my job. Within a couple of days they came out for a quote. I also have a ridge vent design with three gables and a skylight. . All in all a difficult roof to install. I was satisfied with the work and the price. They cleaned up the site and left no mess. They were prompt, focused, friendly and skilled to do the work. I was insured they warranty there work for 10 years and the mfg will warranty 25yrs. I would recommend them

I liked using the "Essential Services for Urgent Repairs" function on Homestars home page. A few quick steps. Replies came in minutes. I checked score of reply company (KY). Sent my Okay to them. Work done next morning.

Michael was very good to work with, super nice and the pricing was very reasonable. If you are on a budget then these guys are a very good option.

The only reason I didn't give them full marks was because there were some burn marks on my back deck and a number of nails left around the house. The burn marks aren't huge and the deck is kinda old but I can imaging some would get VERY upset if it was them.

Again, the price was great, so I'm not going to complain.

I was searching for reputable and honest roofing company. I compared notes with 4 roofing companies. Michael gave me a very honest suggestions. His price is very reasonable with oustanding materials he suggested. I would highly recommend his job and his crew. You will never disappointed with his crew works. My roof was done by ky roofing last year.

Michael was very nice, polite person and professional

the quote looked reasonable, not too high, not too low

So I decided to do the business with him.

However, just a few days ago

I found a lot of falling shingles in my backyard because of windy day

I was so angry and just found out the roofing contract and called Michael about the situation

Michael said He would come to do the repair immediately

an hour later, Michael and his crew came and went to roof to inspect roof

Then I was told my roof is totally fine, the falling shingle just came from my neighbor

I was so happy when I heard about that , and Michael did not charge me any fees

By the way, my neighbor got his new roof as well last year, my neighbor told me his story

He called his preview roofer to come repair. However, the roofer just screamed and laughed to my neighbor that this was not in their warranty and called the manufactures to claim

I appreciated what Michael did for me. And I am so glad I made the right decision chose a right roofing contractor

I had a roof that required replacement right in the heart of downtown Toronto. Limited space for debris made this a challenging job. Michael was able to provide a transparent and competitive quote, and his team was able to complete the job under a time crunch that I had. During the job, we did have a small issue where debris was being dropped right into an alleyway that was a walking path for people but when flagged Michael and his team were quick to resolve. Would certainly recommend his services.

Michael and his team were asked to provide quotes for completing my roof as I was experiencing leaks in April of 2019.

They were not the cheapest quote, but Michael took the time to walk me through the installation process, the products he was going to use and above all, showed me options on what an excellent roof should include and what Mediocre roof consists of.

After understanding what he was offering, and comparing with the cheaper quotes; I immediately dismissed the cheaper quotes knowing that if I wanted the same roof, Michael would gladly deliver at the same cost, but his recommendations were worth the small difference in price for a better roof overall.

They showed up on time, as discussed, finished on time and I love my roof. Even up until last week I was proud of the roof and Proud that I had chosen KY roofing for this project.

What changed between last week and this week, well I’m in the middle of a Reno where we the insulation and drywall is removed. It strong draft of rain came and my roof began to leak, I was absolutely frustrated and angry. I pulled out my invoice, called Michael and said what shoddy installation did you guys do, my roofs leaking in just over a year? He said he’d be there in an hour to check it out. I called back after an hour, where are you and he said outside setting up his ladder.

He went up stairs, inspected the roof and send images. Seems like racoons or an animal tried to break into the roof but were unsuccessful. They ripped up the shingles around all the vents and near the eaves.

A little bit embarrassed I apologized and asked him
To make the necessary repairs. He made the repairs, and as he left, I asked how much, he said this visits on us, next time, I’ll charge a small amount and hopefully it won’t come to that

Now as I write this review of outstanding customer service and exceeding my expectations, I think to my interactions with Michael last year. A week or two after the roof was installed, a racoon at that time also tried to make a break, for my attic, but we heard the ruckus and had it looked at. Ky came and made sure everything was solid after a pest control company wired up the vulnerabilities on my roof. He siliconed all the screw and sealed the environment to make sure I was protected at no cost.

I called once again after I suspected the water from the eavestrough wasn’t flowing as designed and he took a look and fixed

My biggest fear is usually support after the fact of a large purchase. Michael has been around, has made 3-4 visits after the installation, all at no cost to me.

Roof is beautiful and well installed, racoons couldn’t get in atleast the three times we know of.

I have and will continue to recommend him to family and friends and for those of you making a large investment in a roof, go with KY Roofing, great prices, great value, great workmanship and outstanding after the purchase support!
