I don't normally write bad reviews, but I have been contacting the same three guys since November 2021 about holes their contractors "forgot" to fill in my roof and my toilet flange that still leaks even though they "fixed" it twice already. it has come to a point where they are now ignoring me. I have chatted with Mathieu, Joshua and Luc numerous times about the issues and it's always the same response, "we will send someone out to take a look". It is now February and holes and leaks are still present and I already paid them to have it fixed. So here I am writing a review about everything that's gone wrong with this company. A project that was suppose to take 1-2 weeks, took 3 months to complete and I am still not satisfied.
Everything was great in the beginning, they were quick to quote and to get started. I was happy to get a new roof. They knew what I wanted from the beginning. soffit, fascia, attic vents, bathroom vent, two roofs done ( addition and main roof and NOT my porch roof). I came home from work and they had torn apart the wrong roof that I had said I did not want done. Mathieu's reasoning was because my additions roof was in bad shape and they didn't want to fix it. the reason why I was getting a new roof was because it was in bad shape. so in the end they repaired the addition roof with caulking and screws, charged me too much for it even though he said it was free of charge due to their mistake and I still have leaks in my roof. the quote price also never changed ! he just divided the price up into other things. was going to charge me 3k for 6x20 porch soffit/fascia even though I said no and that it was brand new. we had a huge argument over it.
With the soffit and fascia, it was suppose to be around my whole house including my addition. for $7200. Mathieu claims that was a mistake and was only for the main part but would throw in the addition part at no cost. In march when I requested the quote they were aware of rot that needed to be replaced that's why it was around the whole house. well, the addition was never completed, the rot is still there.
they left dents and holes in the new tin and had to replace it two times, they lefts debris all over my yard which I am still finding screws and shingles and they left the front and back roof a mess ( they did clean the front roof but not the back).
They quoted for Services the company does not offer. quoted me for eavestroughing. Told me they didn't have the machine to do it so I naturally found another contractor to do the work. a few days later I asked to have it removed the the quote and they said "we are getting a subcontractor to do it".
It's been issues after issue with them, dishonest work, cannot complete what is quoted simple because they don't want too, they push the blame on you ( the client). I had beautiful decorative wood corbels that were original to my century, I had asked them to take them down and keep them along with the crown moldings. they did 2 sides of the house one day and I saved those pieces, they were either broken ( about 3 out of 12) or slightly chipped, but I didn't care. The contractors had thrown out the rest of the corbels and crown moldings. I had requested them back but Mathieu had told me they were in the garbage.
I even asked for a 5% discount because they did the wrong roof and put me through all this mess. Mathieu said no and then started harassing me to take my complaint of the better business bureau.
I will say this, there were way more issues.
