Did not deliver the bug free porch we asked for. In fact never came back to finish the work after getting paid like I knew he wouldn't which is why I taped him and got a written contract. He did not complete the work in the end. He sent me a message on Facebook saying to hire someone else to finish then blocked me. The door frame is off, one door is on backwards, there is big gaps in doors and would not close with a proper lock put on so Steve put on a hook one and bent it so door could close. We get wasps, butterflies, moths pretty much every bug we had before. He said there would be no bugs and it would be all sealed. He was disrespectful and got mad and yelled at me when I wasn't happy with their work. Screen was left very loose inspector even noticed. He also noticed wood underneath part of deck was removed and not put back to be code. Inspector was going to make him come back and I told him no at this point he didn't want to finish the work and blocked me. I also didn't want him around as I don't trust him. I said I wanted my hubby here if they were to come finish up the remaining work. Steve demanded his money and came banging at my door when I told him he would get it when finished. This is why he wanted it. He had no intentions of finishing the poor quality work. During process a hole went through my newly renovated bedroom which was one of the things he agreed to fix. Another was a huge yellow stain on basement ceiling tile from when it poured, it was all left open and water came in. He left those for me as well and now I have to go out and buy paint for a 4x4 hole and everything else to patch it, sand etc. I was so upset, after he promised me he wasn't that contractor that would do this to me, then does. So I made sure I would leave a review even though he blocked me so I couldn't on Facebook and Instagram. Steve also tried to add another $2000 to the total but I proved to him I paid it and that was not owing. There is alot more. All I can say is he is not to be trusted as he clearly broke that trust with me and the contract we had. I would never recommend this company. He now has lawyers contacting me saying he's suffering mental stress meanwhile all he had to do was finish his work! I'm not removing my reviews when they are truthful and people need to be aware of him to save you the stress. Now I'm on my own to get the jobs fixed and finished. He made it hard for me to remove the frames to tighten screens as they were all caulked that one. They got caulking on the glass and put way too much so now I'm not sure how I will get off on second story outside of glass. Way too much to mention but just run!!! He will say everything you want to hear but I promise you will not deliver or maybe he will learn his lesson and not do this to anyone else. I will not let you get away with this and if you want lawyers involved that's fine but quit twisting the facts. You didn't give me an option for you to fix it. You blocked me after you said to hire someone else. I gave you that money and you were to come back the next day to finish up. My brand new hot tub cover was also burned by your cigarettes and I tell you and nothing to say, as you knew I just got it. Didn't seem to care about respecting me or our property.
