We had sagged floors and the floor joists were damaged. we contracted GTA Home Design to install the beams and to reinforce the joists to fix the sagging and bouncing of floors. They have done a great job and we recommend them for high quality of construction. Work was done on time and in budget.

I had a second floor added to my bungalow by GTA Home Design and i am extremely satisfied with the results. The process was attentive and professional. the attention to detail is evident in the high-end finished result. Ben and his team were hired to remove walls in our house, one of which was a 20ft span of load bearing wall.
They worked very efficiently and produced great results at a very fair price.
The team is very knowledgeable and felt confident in the work that they were doing even though I could not envision how something would get done (i.e. such as fitting a 16ft metal support post from the basement to 1st floor)
Even when we encountered issues in the walls, Ben always offered good alternatives and workarounds.
We are very satisfied with the work done by Ben and his team and will definitely use them in the future. Would highly recommend.

We did full Reno on our house, did most the work ourselves, but needed a contractor for our load bearing wall, we had several contractors come quote the job, GTA House Design Inc left the best impression they new what they were talking about and made us feel confident they could do a good job, and price was very reasonable.
We had job done in February 2019, they did a great job & worked fast as to not hold up our drywaller, we have nothing but great things to say & would definitely recommend GTA House Design Inc.

I hired Ben to do a large renovation project, including framing a new Extension, and a basement. He was friendly and professional during the whole process.
He and his team was very efficiently. we had some issues with the drawing and city permit , they helped us to find solustions with least headaches,
I would recommend him to anyone with a framing job especially structural works.

Two walls needed to be removed:
1. Between the kitchen and the living area
2. Between the drawing room and the entarance hall way

Both walls were removed in 3 days with solid LVL beams, of the strongest wood available. Most other contractors wanted to install pillars instead which is the worst thing you can do to a load bearing wall, and does not even look good.

These guys do thing the right professional way. You won’t have to worry about the structural support. I will definitely recommend GTA house design to anyone who is thinking of removing load bearing walls. I will be utilizing their service again for other areas of my house.
