Cory did fantastic work on our bathroom reno, taking it from totally run down to spectacular. All throughout, he showed himself not just really good at the craft (especially tile setting), but friendly, dependable, and excellent at communicating different possibilities with their pros and cons. Cory is very detailed-oriented and makes sure that all jobs are completed to the highest demand, he is considerate, and it's always worth listening to his suggestions and advice: he opened us to options that we had not considered and which made a really good impact on the final product (like the herringbone pattern for the floor tiles). In our reno, he also went beyond the external aesthetics and made sure that the underlying condition of the cramped bathroom in our very old house was left in a much better situation than it was (solid framing, good insulation and waterproofing, perfectly level floor). The job, as often happens, went through some unexpected delays (through no fault of Cory's) when poor underlying conditions needed to be remedied and other subcontractors did not keep to their schedule; in these situations Cory was just as helpful and level-headed, which contributed to our peace of mind in this stressful situation. Overall, Cory did an excellent job and was an extremely pleasant person to have around, I would certainly recommend him for similar jobs.

Cory did a wonderful job on our bathroom tile install. He really knows his stuff with the Schluter system. He is honest, dependable and responsive and clearly cares about doing a great job. The finished job exceeded our expectations!

The silicon in the shower area was moldy and need to be redone. As well the bathroom floor grout was yellowing so Cory cleaned it with a metal brush and baking and hydrogen peroxide. It looks as good as new. The bathroom looks brand new!!!

Cory worked his magic again and made our kitchen tile look wonderful. As it's an old home, there were areas that needed ramps for every walkway into hallway, washroom, outside and basement flush. It was done to perfection. Cory also order a matching vent for us and it was perfect. If you want attention to detail and someone who knows how to tile intricately then use River Reed!

We hired Cory to do a major renovation on our small, almost unusable upstairs bathroom. It required significant work (structural, HVAC, electrical) and Cory made us feel confident he’d be able to handle it and get most of the work done while we were on vacation.
