Seven months after our fence was beautifully built by Proper construction I called Eddie. My husband became ill. I am a short person and the gate latch was high. Eddie came immediately and lowered the latch for me. This kind of service is rare.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Eddie and the whole crew are amazing - so fast, detail-oriented, professional and with a keen eye for design. They always recommended where to save money and where to spend a bit more for sustainability and made the whole process very easy. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and they are very down to earth. They have so years experience and it shows. We couldn't be happier with our new backyard, all thanks to Proper Construction Company!

Eddie provided a very personalized service. We required a drawing for a building permit and Eddie provided a referral to a quality specialist. He kept us informed continuously regarding the progress in a time when the delivery of supplies were uncertain. He was personally on site for much of the construction and clean up. The deck looks great.

Employees are really organized and fast. Eddie the owner, is really professional in his field. I am 100% satisfied with the work they have done. Their price was really competitive and fair and I will recommend them to all of my friends.

Summer 2021. I saw a beautiful fence in our neighbourhood and got Eddie’s contact info from the homeowner. Eddie and his team built an excellent, tall, sturdy 100 foot fence and gate for us. Several weeks later strong winds from hurricane Larry, started to sway a tree against the fence. Eddie came right away and adjusted the fence to prevent the tree from touching it. Great service!

Eddie and his team did an absolutely beautiful job on our back deck. They created and achieved the modern look we were going for and completed the job on time and on budget. They also identified and addressed some safety issues that have made our outdoor space safer. The entire team was hard working, patient and accommodating with a last minute change in scope, which was appreciated.

Above all else, what stood out the most was how much Eddie and his team cared about their craftsmanship, keeping us happy, and delivering a truly exceptional finished product. Eldar built a new deck in place of our aging patio. Eldar's team started work earlier than we've expected and finished work in 3 days. We are very happy with our new deck, how well it is built, and how fast it was put together. Also, Eldar had to take some deck boards back to Home Depot due to the very bad quality of the wood that was delivered by Home Depot.

Eddie and his team constructed the deck for my cottage. I thought the construction was going to be challenging as there were multiple levels needed as well as railings added, but Eddie and his team constructed the deck flawlessly. The work was of high quality, and they tried to incorporate my recommendations as to what I wanted. Another point I wanted to highlight was that they showed up very early every morning and completed the project in their quoted time and cost. Highly recommend for deck and fence projects in GTA

Eddie provided a quote for work on a replacement 12x10 deck in my backyard. Quote was for $6750. I demolished and disposed of the deck on my own. I was also providing the composite deck boards. Not knowing what the going rate was, I agreed. My mistake. Work began 2 weeks later than the quoted start time. Work commenced on the support frame and base of the deck. I previously advised Eddie that I would only provide the deck boards as stated in our contract, but i still had to order all the screws myself. Eddie graciously discounted the price of the screws from the total cost. We changed our minds on style the deck boards and reordered, causing a 3 day delay. Materials were delivered on the Monday and worked commenced when it stopped raining 3 days later. After Eddie's team finished up, they did a quick
run through and asked if I liked it and they left. I had no idea that was the final inspection. I had to recall Eddie and tell him there were 6 unfinished tasks. I don't believe I should have had to tell them their job was incomplete. Eddie's crew showed up the next day to finish up the outstanding items. After they were done, I had concerns with the hand rails being full of chipped wood. I asked them to trim it off as it posed a risk to my 2 small children (4 and 2) with splinters . they told me that it was how they normally left the hand rails. When I insisted they trim it, they huffed and said I was the only customer ever to complain. Then they said that if they sanded it down it would ruin the look. Instead of arguing even more, I told them forget it, I would do it myself. If they had just taken the time and drilled pilot holes before screwing them in, this would have been avoided. The crew was
efficient due to cutting corner and lacked the craftsmanship. I paid 6750 minus screw refund, i had
high expectations. They were not met. I would not recommend this company if you want a deck made
with care. 1 month after install every single hand rail is deformed. Eddie would not do anything to rectify the situation because it states in the contract that wood naturally warps. This is just poor installation resulting in a poorly finished job. Avoid if you're doing decks.
