Above and beyond really doesn’t cover it. They worked very hard, were so clean and very respectful of our home. They were genuinely wanting to make sure we were satisfied with the work. The work was done amazingly! They painted our entire home, patched walls, a lot we didn’t expect. It was done in the time they quoted and in budget - and done in such a friendly way, we joked “our friends are here” when they arrived each morning. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for painting and other services.

When a local drywall company recently left our home in a terrible mess after removing our popcorn ceilings — and had unfortunately run late by two days as well — our condo was clearly not ready for painting to begin right away, as originally planned.

Javier saved us by immediately contacting professional cleaners who were able to come over on very little notice. They quickly and efficiently cleaned our whole place so the painters could get to work without any further delays. We really don’t know what we would have done without Javier’s timely help!

He and his crew then put in a very long day and did everything they could to get our project back on track. Not only did they complete their work on time, but they also did an excellent job patching and painting all our ceilings, walls, doors and trim.

Javier is a professional contractor with many years of experience, and he’s also very understanding and kind as well. We’re so pleased with the results that we’re having him and his crew back soon to do more work for us.

The guys showed up early! The walls and ceiling were repaired and painted and they did a great job. Great value for the money too. Drop cloths were setup everywhere including the entrance to my home. Definitely one of the more thoughtful contractors I've had visit my home.

We had a messed up kitchen ceiling in our open plan house and stained ceilings upstairs due to a leaky roof. Javier and his assistants scraped, patched and painted all damaged spots on our ceilings and walls. Javier is a genius with patching and his painting is impeccable. He also redid our entrance hallway by building a bench there. He and his crew left the house completely tidy when they left each evening. He charged a fair price and was courteous and professional throughout. All in all, we are so glad that we gave the job to Javier. We cannot say enough good things about him.

We are undergoing full renovation of our main floor, including our basement. Unfortunately, we have been living in a construction zone since November 2019. We just couldn’t find a contractor to commit to completing the work. Repeated unreliable, no show, shoddy renovators.
Then I came across Mason Painting and Services on the Homestars website. Their reviews were very good, but I was a little apprehensive because of my previous experiences.
I have to tell you that I’m really glad I decided on hiring them for my drywall / tape / plaster work. I was very impressed with the customer service, professionalism, punctuality, and quality of work this company offered.
Javier assessed the work that needed to be done, and promptly provided a quote, and timeline for the work to be completed. He refused receipt of any money until the job was done, AND I was 100% happy… Now that’s someone that stands behind his work!
He, and his team began working at 7am each day, and worked until 5 or 6pm. They carefully covered our belongings and windows with protective wrap, and tidied up at the end of each day. Upon completion, Javier walked me through the completed project area so I could inspect the work, and make sure I was happy. Not only did they meet our expectations, they went above and beyond to exceed them. Mason Painting and Service demonstrated their professionalism, expertise, customer service, and dedication for their business.
Not only are we extremely pleased with the result of our main floor ceilings, and walls, but we are also excited to have found a reputable, respectable, trustworthy company to partner with again in the future.
