The owner, Mario, promptly responded to my request for a quote. He came on time and was very professional and completed the electrical work within the time he quoted.
His hourly rate is excellent value and he did excellent work.

Mario was hired to upgrade my service at home. He provided me with a quote, to which I accepted. He asked for a 70% deposit. After he received payment, he did not complete the work, and he threatened to leave the job site if I did not give him additional money before he completed the work. I was left with no power in the house, and no HVAC heating during winter. He further threatened to make drastic decisions against me and my property, because I refused him additional work, that was not part of the original contract.

We hired Mario to replace knob-and-tube wiring in one of the bedrooms of our over 100-year-old home. He provided us with a fair quote, was knowledgeable, on time, completed the work in the time-frame he promised, left his work space tidy and clean and advised us on the best solution for our budget and for the long term. Mario takes noticeable pride in his work and results. He was concerned with our satisfaction every step of the way and he demonstrated his detailed knowledge of the electrical code, on which he is constantly up to date. The best part of our experience with Mario is his savvy knowledge of old homes and how best to install wiring and fixtures without excessive damage to the plaster walls, which will save us money. He was worth every penny and we will rely on him in the future for other improvement projects and repairs! Thank you, Mario!

I was having trouble finding an electrician for a job that was small but giving me persistent problems. Mario was great to work with and I will call him again for any electrical work. He resolved a relatively complicated issue caused by poor workmanship in the past. I appreciated the way that he kept an eye on the quality and on keeping the cost reasonable.

I was very impressed with how professional and polite the team from Coppersol Electric were when they came to change and replace my baseboard heater and my 150amp panel. They even set up the ESA inspection for me and called the hydro company. I didn’t even have to think once I hired Coppersol Electric; they handle everything in a very professional and friendly manner. Mario and his crew from coppersol electric came to my house when it was in a very bad state with lights flickering and breakers tripping every time i use my hairdryer. They were very professional, polite and efficient while working, he completed all of the work we discussed and also went above and beyond by patching holes and cleaning up everyday after the work was completed. All work was done up to electrical code and neatly. The panel was upgraded, meter base was upgraded, spotlights were installed around the house, and knob and tube was replaced with brand new lines throughout the house. I am very pleased with the work overall and would call them again or recommend their services to others.

I’ve been calling Mario for all electrical jobs big or small over the years, he’s the best in his trade and an honest dependable guy, punctual with reasonable rates. Reasonable price for a bunch of jobs, some quite time consuming . Prick included parts, including a top of the line bathroom fan. Both guys were very respectful and looking to make sure I was happy with the work. They had to do some rewiring through plaster that was not in the expected scope of work (more knob and tube in my walls found), but did not charge for extra work. To run a new outlet to the kitchen, they went through the basement and then up.
I will call when I need another job done.

We hired Mario at Coppersol to do a bunch of small electrical jobs in our home, including installation of ceiling fans, new receptacles, and an energy monitoring current clamp in our breaker panel.

His work was efficient, tidy, and professionally done, and in discussing our plans, he clearly explained what is and isn't permitted by the Ontario electrical code. I found this refreshing, as many other electricians I spoke to seemed to exaggerate the need for new hardware or wiring, in an effort to up-sell and inflate the cost of the work.

I solicited several quotes for this work from electricians through Homestars and Kijiji, and found Coppersol's rate to be very competitive. Overall I would be happy to hire Coppersol again for jobs like this.
