AVOID. Lost more than $10,000 on this 'company'. Default judgment pending in Court.
COMPLETELY AVOID. There is a Court case currently pending against this 'business'. In early 2017, hired Lance Hottinger of L.G.H. Contracting (located in Dunnville ON, although he claimed to be located in Hamilton ON), to complete a full basement renovation at our home. It took him 2 weeks just to re-parge the basement stairwell outside. Paid him more than $5,000 beyond his quote but he only completed approx. 20% of the work then absconded; took my money & ran. Most of the work he 'did' actually do was shoddy.
AVOID. Lost more than $10,000. Additionally, the Defendant was extremely difficult to serve with Court documents. He deliberately avoided process serving attempts, so I had to use more creative (yet NOT illegal) techniques to finally have him served. He never submitted a defence, so a default judgment is currently pending in an Ontario court.
