Harris Expert Roofing

We had a leaking corner in our first floor roof between front entrance and garage section. Due to the big snow followed by rain this winter, the water were dripping non-stop from that corner even all the way to the basement. We gave Harris a phone call and he showed up the next day with full inspection, and explained the potential cause with clear words that even non-expert like us would understand. He also provided fair pricing among all the quotes we recieved with additional water proofing for our problematic valley. On the work day, his team is on-time and completed their work tidy and efficient. Besides the great work, Harris is also a great person to talk to, knowledgeable and passionate about the work. We will definitely reach out again for any future roof project.

We had an issue with a foul smell and ceiling leak in our bathroom in a recently purchased house. We found Harris through Homestars. He was responsive and promptly came by to take a look. He was able to quickly identify the issue (bathroom fan connected to plumbing vent!) He not only fixed the bathroom issue in the middle of winter by accessing the attic/floor and installing new piping/vents, but fixed other issues in the attic space. He noticed vents in another bathroom and laundry were also not properly installed, resulting in a humid attic. He fixed those and also added some missing insulation in the attic.

Overall, we had an excellent experience with Harris. He is very knowledgeable about roofing, attic and a lot more. Most importantly, he is genuine and personable. He helped us when many others would not even bother to look at the issue because of heavy snow. And he did it with a smile. I would highly recommend Harris.

As this was our first roof repair, he provided Before pictures and clearly explained what the issue was, along with our options. He personally repaired our roof with his team and came back to inspect the work, showing us After pictures to demonstrate how his repair had corrected the issue. I had a hard time finding a roofing company with high HomeStars rating to come look at my roof in the past 2 months. Harris returned my messages quickly and came to take a look within 2 days. He went on my roof and took pictures so he could to show me the problem that needed to be fixed. He also suggested other issues that could be a problem in the future with the pictures as proof. I was confident he did the work he told me he was going to do because he showed me pictures of all the things he fixed on the roof.

Harris was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. From start to finish he communicated really well. He was onsite with his team for most of the job and came and inspected the project with me at the end to make sure I was satisfied. He not only covered our roof with high quality shingles but found someone to do the aluminum roofing in a small area above a front window on the second level who did an exceptional job. We are really happy with the whole project.

I had to reroute my downspout from the front of my house to the side of my house and realign the eaves trough. Harry went above and beyond to get the job done. Although it’s “Harris Expert Roofing” there’s nothing Harry can’t do he’s literally a “jack of all trades”. He did an AMAZING job and I couldn’t be more happy with his top notch work. Harris was professional, friendly & honest throughout the entire process and always prompt to address all my concerns. From the beginning when I approached several roofing companies for an estimate, Harris offered his expert opinion and various options to me, as well as presented a very competitive quote.
We selected Architectural 3D fiber glass shingles, added rooftop Maxi vents & vent openings in our upper soffit to improve air circulation in the attic, and replaced our 40+ year-old wooden roof with thicker 1/2 inch plywood sheets.
His crew meticulously completed the roofing job spread over 2 days, and thoroughly cleaned up the site -- including the use of a magnetic roller to pick up any metal nails and the like! We can vouch that Harris really takes pride of his work and will do anything to satisfy his clients.
