Goretti is amazing to work with. She has great ideas, an ability to make them happen and a keen understanding of what adds value to a design. She worked with us for over a year to come up with a design that met our budget, put together a terrific crew and then brought it to life with landscaping that worked for our space and level of maintenance. Perhaps the best part of working with Goretti is her ability to honour her commitments. Its easy to trust her and and her team. If she says it will get done, it does. I would absolutely work with her again!

We have a fabulous new backyard now, a major feat considering our oddly shaped yard that has always been a challenge in terms of making the best use of the space. Goretti of Galego Designs is a true artist and brought our vague goals to life for us in the best way. I consider every aspect of the project a success, from the design to execution, and also applaud the top notch project management and communication from Goretti. Highly recommended.

We were very happy with the courteous and professional manner that Ashley and Goretti managed our entrance, kitchen and family room renovation. Our project turned out great and we were happy with the end result. Ashley and Goretti were helpful throughout the project in providing design ideas and managing a good group of trades, whose workmanship was excellent and they too were very professional and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Living in a hundred year old house, there’s always a new project to tackle and we’d be happy to work with Galego Designs again.

Our house needed some renovations in the front yard, and after some initial meetings with Galego Designs, we liked their proposal, and also the fact that they would oversee the whole project (new porch, new landscaping with a challenges due to large tree roots, new asphalt driveway) . We're very satisfied with the results, and would recommend Galego Designs to anyone for their house projects.

The project was to install a railing around an existing deck, add stone stairs to the deck, a stone walk from front to back, a garbage bins shed and general landscaping.
These were a number of small projects and we were not sure how to tie them all together.
Goretti and her team were able to take our ideas, made terrific recommendations and built a plan that did just that. We are extremely happy with the results.
We were pleasently surprised from start to finish at the level of customer service and communication from Goretti and her teams. Goretti is budget conscience without sacrificing quality, makes solid recommendations, even updating some of our "old school" ideas, and constantly updated us on the project status.
The front and back yards now look finished and flow together naturally. Not an easy task on a corner lot.

I am very pleased with the outcome of Goretti's design and work on my exceptionally large backyard. I had plants all along the property line, which were poorly placed, overgrown, and the areas were filled in with weeds and debris. Goretti cleaned out all the plant beds, relocated existing plants which were not thriving in the area, and brought in additional plants/trees/shrubs which brought winter interest and gave a sense of balance to the entire property. Having a pie shaped lot, one corner of the property was unutilized and truly an eye sore. Goretti had a vision that transformed the area by installing a stone patio for a fire pit and sitting area, flanking it with beautiful armour stone boulders for additional attraction and seating. This area has now become the focal point of the backyard. Additional stone boulders were added along the fence line along with mulch through all the planting beds. Goretti, was a pleasure to work with. She not only created the design but was on site working and supervising the proper execution of her vision. She is very prompt in communication and makes all efforts to work within timelines. I would certainly work with Goretti again in any future project and would highly recommend her.
