Great Wall Masonry

I recently used Great Wall Masonry to address an issue I was having with my porch. I had contacted a number of different companies and received numerous estimates and numerous recommended approaches to addressing the issue. In the end I went with Great Wall Masonry because I felt they were the most knowledgeable company I had dealt with, they provided me with the most thorough set of recommendations and options, and did so at very competitive rates when compared to the other companies I spoke with. The stone mason I spoke to was Daniel and I cannot say enough about how easy he was to deal with and how thorough he was with explaining the issue and presenting the various options with their pros and cons.
The job had some added complexity since I was trying to have the house waterproofed at the same time which required me to coordinate the timing of the porch work and waterproofing. Daniel volunteered to call my waterproofing company and took care of all of the back and fourth and logistics on my behalf.
I am extremely pleased by the work done by Daniel and the other stone mason Greg. They went above and beyond to ensure I was 100% completely satisfied. I am very glad I went with Great Wall Masonry. Daniel in particular went above and beyond to ensure I understood all of the issues and the potential options. He was extremely professional, pleasant to deal with, always responded to my questions and messages immediately, and did everything that was promised and then some.
I would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I interacted with the Great Wall staff via email and they were always prompt and courteous. They took the time to answer all my questions and did not hesitate to respond with great detail. Daniel, the mason on site was good with text messaging to keep me updated with timelines. On site Daniel was courteous and professional. He did a great job with trying to match our mortar colour and was able to explain his process when I asked questions. He took great care to finish the job in a neat and timely fashion.

Daniel and crew did an amazing job helping us repair old original flag stone, planters, and tuck pointing out chimney in our new home that needed some tender love and care. Most other companies came to quote and wanted to demolish and start fresh since this would be a bigger pay day.

Daniel spent the time and had the confidence it could be repaired and give us many more years of life on the beautiful original stone work. They stand behind their work and have come back after the past winter to make sure everything is holding up well and to address minor imperfections without any fuss.

So pleased to have been able to find Great Wall
Masonry to help repair instead of destroy and replace all the original stonework which my gut was telling me was not necessary!

They did excellent work and both Daniel that came to give the quote and do the work as well as Brittany in the office were both very friendly, courteous and responded right away to any questions. I would recommend them for sure.

Daniel and the team did an exceptional job rebuilding and repairing our chimney. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly remarkable. Daniel had made extra efforts to match new bricks exactly to existing ones. They also kept the job site incredibly neat and clean throughout the entire project. Our chimney now looks better than ever, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Great Wall Masonry for any masonry work.

Daniel and his young helper did a great job of replacing a broken brick window sill with a new stone sill. The work was professionally done on time and neatly done. We will definitely use Daniel for any future projects.
