We needed to have the trim molding, wainscoting and mirror wall done in our new house. The designs were tricky and most of the companies we contacted told us that it is a “very custom” job quoting high fees to have the work done. We came across Construct X Design on Facebook and started considering them after having a look at the photos of their completed projects. We’ve made a decision to contact them for a quote after reading all the positive reviews. And, we can confidently say that it was the best decision!
We were communicating with Wilson regarding the project (who is the owner/manager of the company). Wilson was prompt to respond and he gave us a reasonable estimate of the fees. From the beginning, we got the impression that the company is professional and reliable. Wilson was courteous, accommodating and always responded promptly to our emails and texts. His team of subcontractors did a great job from start to finish and every single person we dealt with from the manager to the painters, carpenters and installers were top notch, professional, and reliable. The work was done on time and exactly when they said it would be.
The first impression is that all of the workers in the company are quite young. But don’t be fooled by their youth! They were all highly skilled and real professionals of their trades. We were so impressed by the workmanship of the carpenters, Evan and Mitch, that we did not want to let them go and asked to have an additional room done in our house. It was a girl’s room with a very complex wall molding design (-not an easy project for any carpenter). However, the carpenters handled the job perfectly by doing a wonderful job on all the walls. Contractors were careful, competent and very neat. There was no mess in the house while they worked. All the cutting of the wall trim material was done outside.
We would definitely recommend Construct X Design for any renovation and construction projects. They will be #1 on our list to contact, should we require any work done in our house in the future. We are grateful to Wilson and his team for giving us an excellent experience using their company!

I contacted Wilson at Construct X Design to inquire about getting my kitchen backsplash done. I had already completed most other renovations myself, so it was hard too find a contractor that would take on just the tile. Wilson replied right away and was happy to come out and have a look. He understood exactly what I wanted to do and was also willing to offer advice when I asked. Gutted our 1994 house and made it look like new. The crew was really good at going the extra mile whenever there was a potential scenario/situation that would arise. I will use them again for sure.

Wilson and his crew were nothing short of amazing! We hired them to completely re-floor our entire top floor. They removed all of the old tile and baseboards and installed new laminate flooring in our kitchen, living room, dining room, rec room, hallways, staircase, and all of the bedrooms as well as re-tiled our bathroom floor. We also had them install a new glass backsplash. We trusted them to let themselves in every morning while we were at work and they made sure to clean up everything when they were done. We were not charged a penny over what was quoted either. I highly recommend them for any of your renovation needs. When we are ready to start our bottom floor, we will definitely be calling them again!

Wilson and Marika were wonderful throughout the entire process of our renovation. We completely gutted and renovated our townhouse, including flooring, baseboards, tile, fireplace, master bathroom, and kitchen. They transformed our place. They also assisted every step of the way with design, and helped us get the most out of what we were installing. Their employees were polite and professional and a pleasure to have in our home.
