Our dryer was making a strange noise and we needed it fixed before a long weekend. Wasn't sure if that could happen timing wise but Maydone was very responsive and the designated Max called on the Friday afternoon of the long weekend and was actually able to come early to diagnose the issue. They were a little more expensive than another couple of companies consulted but in terms of responsiveness and reliability I was impressed.

Very polite, took dryer apart, found the trouble. Showed me the problem, the pulley that makes the belt turn the drum was broke. made sure that they had the part first. told me what it would cost before they fix it. clean the dryer from top to bottom, put it back together. I am so happy.

I am completely impressed with the repair people at Maydone. What should have been a small job turned into a rather large job which was still cheaper than buying a new dishwasher. We have a thermador dishwasher (7 years old) and the door had lost its ability to stop and was just falling open. We thought it would be a simple repair. Unfortunately it was not. They had to remove the whole dishwasher and basically replace the whole bottom of the machine. I blame the cheap plastic parts made by Thermador and would not buy this brand again. I have had Maydone in to fix my stove vent and washer and they did an excellent job with those too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Called Maydone to look at 23 year old Maytag Neptune Washer which was failing to start every now and again for no apparent reason. Until this point it had been highly dependable. 2 Maydone technicians show up on time, listened to my layman explanations of the problem and then spent almost 2 hours going over every component of the washer operation. They gave me 2-3 options for the repair as well as information on parts which were no longer available due to the age of the washer. No pressure to go one way or the other just good information for me to make a decision. They said they would check with Maytag tech support to see if there were any other options to consider and true to their word they did. In the end we decided to buy a new washer because of the age of our old one. They left the washer operational and the cost to me was $115. We are very happy with the honest, straightforward approach and will definitely use them again.

Our service technician Igor was awesome. We have an 8 year old Dacor microwave/convection that stopped working suddenly. Since it was a very expensive unit we decided to see if it could be repaired instead of replacing it.
Igor tested it and found it only needed a new $36 internal fuse. He took the time to explain that typically when a fuse goes it usually means there could be an issue with another component and if it happens again it would make sense to buy a new one.
Two weeks later still working like new.

Max at Maydone was a pleasure to deal with. He is careful to verify the part I requested before placing the order and part arrived within a few days. Pricing was on par and fair.
