Last summer, we really needed help with a variety of home improvements in our basement. The biggest project was a renovation of our basement bathroom and laundry room. We were interested in an all-inclusive renovation and other estimates did not meet that challenge.

White Spruce Carpentry did it all, from demolition, to installing: a new window, a beautiful full size tiled shower (where there had been tub), new flooring, a new fan to the outside, lighting, a new toilet and bathroom vanity. They even moved the heating vent! They use special product to ensure walls are fully protected from water damage and more expensive waterproof grouting to protect against mould and mildew. In the laundry room, they installed new flooring and pantry shelving. They suggested and followed through with hanging a barn door instead of a standard door to free up room and helped with some electrical issues so that we could move the freezer in. They stacked the washer and dryer for us. They also offered to and fixed drywall damage in the family room and painted all walls in the bathroom, laundry room and family room.

It is all the little “big” things he did that really made a difference for us. White Spruce Carpentry willingly took on other projects as well. They installed beautiful new basement windows and a lovely stone wall and electric fireplace in our living-room.
