I found Mohammed doing a google search for Structural Engineers in the west end of GTA. I wanted to remove two partition walls in the house that seemed load bearing (perpendicular to trusses).

I scheduled appointment with Mohammed and he showed up on time. The moment he popped into the attic, he said 'you are lucky' since these are engineered trusses and self-supporting. So I could go ahead and remove those walls. He put his stamp which assured me. He was also kind enough to say that I could do video call at time of demolishing just to be extra sure.

I went ahead and demolished those walls. It's been a few days and no sagging so far, everything seems pretty good. I'm glad I contacted Mohammed.

Cons: The only negative thing was that Mohammed cut a hole in ceiling to look into the attic. I believe he could have went into the attic from the existing opening to check. But in all fairness, he mentioned this up front before scheduling the appointment.
