Lea Appliance Repair

I have a kitchen aid fridge that is just over 5 years old that kept freezing up and stopping the fan.
Lea appliance repair came and thawed out the fridge, charged $200 to do that, and it didn't help. They came and replaced the computer board, $600, didn't help. They ordered a temperature sensor, that they said is on back order. I have been waiting 5 months for it, having to thaw out my fridge on a weekly basis. I have tried calling Lea many times and they have only picked up once to tell me the part is still on backorder. My husband just looked up the part and it is a available online from Sears. $59. Unfortunately I just ordered a new fridge that is being delivered on Thursday. I guess we will have 2 now.

Terrific appliance repair. Fast clean and reliable. Edgar did a great job. He came because my 14 year old refrigerator was having problems with the water dispenser. Diagnosed and fixed it in no time.

Fridge went on the fritz. Edgar contacted me as soon as I submitted the Homestars quote request around 9am, and committed to come in the afternoon. He arrived a little before noon. I explained the symptoms, he did some diagnostics, and identified that the circuit board had a short and needed to be replaced. Ten minutes later the new circuit board was in and the fridge was back to normal.

I appreciate the fast arrival and turnaround and the excellent customer service. He explained the issue clearly, was very courteous, and gave me a cost estimate before proceeding with the repair. He took the appropriate COVID precautions.

This cost me more than it might have if I'd fixed it myself - putting in a new circuit board is pretty straightforward - but I would probably have waited a week for the part to arrive, then taken 10 times as long as Edgar to install it, and in the end I might well have messed it up anyway. Edgar had the part in his car (actually he came in with it from the get go) so the whole thing went extremely fast. Peace of mind is well worth the extra price!

Had Lea appliance come look at our stove. Provided them with model# prior to coming and my layman’s thoughts on the problem. They came prepared and on time. We’re able to fix problem on the spot!!! Very satisfied with work completed and the knowledge and the customer service of the technician

Edgar went out of his way to help fix this range hood despite it being an older model. Would recommend to anyone.

Fridge stopped working, someone recommended we try Lea. Edgar responded to my text same day and arranged to come by the next day.
He attended, diagnosed the problem quickly, explained it to us, and repaired right away.
