It is an unfortunate occurrence that our technicians were not aware or informed of the line you had leading to the flooded area, which ultimately led to the leak and left you feeling unhappy with the work. Hi Michelle, thank you for reaching out to us, we are glad we were able to clear up misunderstandings regarding the coil installation and maintenance. Just as a reminder, to avoid damage to your furnace going forward, please make sure to change out your filter regularly based on the size and type of filter that you have. The pleated 16x25x1 MERV 8 filters we carry usually last up to 3 months unless the home has more pollutants. But if you are still using your washable filter then please make sure to clean it more frequently, possibly every month or maybe more often based on your situation. Since a clogged filter can lead to the coils freezing again and damaging your furnace.
