Doors onto deck opened outwards, were susceptible to allowing water in when very heavy rain and were draughty in the winter. Wanted to replace with sliding doors to deal with these issues. Also replace windows. Contacted a number of companies. Many didn't respond. One sent a rep around who clearly couldn't see a solution (not sure why) and never got back to us. Michael at Amica however quickly responded to my email with a phone call and actually sounded interested in doing the job. We worked with him, signed the contract and had a few months wait for the windows and doors to be made. Dennis and Al installed in July but there was an issue with one of the new windows so the job couldn't be completed. Obviously very concerning for us since the manufacture of the windows had taken some time. But this is the test of whether a company stands behind its product and service. Michael worked with the manufacturer to sort out a new window and Dennis and Al were back within 2 weeks to finish the job with the new window. I also contacted Michael a little later to have a small portion of caulking looked at and again he had Dennis come back and sort out. Very happy with the doors & windows and the work Dennis and Al did. Michael always gets back to you whether its regarding queries or dealing with any outstanding issue with the job. Have attached pictures of original and new doors/windows.

I would highly recommend Amica to anyone looking for new windows. They were prompt. The installation was efficient. The installers were friendly and everything was spotless when they left. The quality of the windows is great. And the price was very reasonable.

After searching many companies who replaces windows and door, i found Amica Windows and Door, who send Micheal, and he was great in explaining all different type of windows to change to on a budget. Once the selection of windows was done, Micheal was very accomodating in scheduling the install on my date and time. Installion of all winodws and Patio door was done in 1 days and the installions crew was great as well. All in all i would highly recomand service from Amica.

When we bought our 97 year old house two years ago, we foolishly didnt realize a couple of the windows were much older than the others (1995 vs 2008!). We chose to participate in the Greener Homes Program, which incentivized us to replace these older windows. We obtained a few quotes, and while Amica wasnt the cheapest, they offered the best product in our opinion. Joe, our salesperson, was very helpful in advising on the best window type to select per room, and how to get the best value from the Greener Homes Program. He also gave us some background on the window industry overall and what to be wary of when selecting a vendor, which was much appreciated. Our windows were installed by Alex, Manuel, and team, and they did a quick and tidy job. We noticed after the install some discolouration on the caulking inside the house (turns out it was just the wooden shims we were seeing through the caulking!) and a quartz trim that was dislodged in the bathroom. I notified the owner, Michael, who quickly sent the team back within a couple of days to diagnose and fix the issues. Overall, were very happy with our new windows! Theyre great quality and look amazing! We chose triple paned windows, and are amazed at how better insulated our rooms are. We previously would run a humidifier all night in our sons nursery because the hygrometer would read 30-40%. Now the room is stable around 60%! I sometimes have to open the window to reduce the humidity, which is such a contrast to what we did previously. Thanks Amica!

After reviewing several estimates I decided to go with Amica. They were one of the more expensive of the estimates, but I did choose triple pane option. and the windows they use were well reviewed. I found Michael straightforward professional and very helpful. The installers were great; minimal dust and very tidy. I had a post installation energy audit and the new windows made a big improviement. The windows look great and I am very happy.

This is the second time we have had Amica Windows & Doors replace windows and first time replacing sliding patio door. The installation team are courteous, detailed, and highly skilled professionals. They are are proud of their work and value customer satisfaction.

I cant say enough great words about my experience with Amica Windows and Doors. Michael was attentive to our needs from the very start and has a keen attention for detail. Dennis and Al, the installers, were super patient and took the time and care to answer all of our questions when the windows were going in. All in all, a great company to work with on a new construction or for window replacement.

We recently had two new exterior doors installed and are very happy with our experience with Amica.
Right from the get go working with Michael was great. Had a few other companies come out and give quotes and they were pushy and kept trying to pressure us for a sale. Michael was the opposite of that - he was very patient with us, working back and forth creating quotes for several options and answering all of our questions in a very professional manner. He even had his installer come out and take a look before we signed any thing with him just to make sure that everything was good and to answer any questions we might have about the installation process.
When it came time for installation, he communicated very clearly about what would happen and his installer(George) did a great job. They were very professional, respectful of our house and property, did great work and cleaned everything up very well.
Michael even came out to check up on the quality of the work once it was done (and before asking for payment).
To top it all off the doors look and work great.
Overall a great experience and I will be using Amica windows and doors in the future .

We are delighted with our new windows, installed by Amica. We were very impressed with all aspects of the renovation, beginning with the initial contact with Michael, through to the final inspection. All our questions and concerns were addressed promptly with detailed written responses or verbal communication. The quote was competitive and the work was professionally completed. We ordered 18 windows (most were triple pane), which were generally large and heavy. Dennis and Al did a fantastic job installing them with precision and competence. We will be having Amica return next year to replace our front and patio doors! Many thanks for an amazing job!
