The rubber boot on my front end washer got damaged and water was leaking at the bottom of the window. I got a replacement part on my own and was going to try and change it myself but don’t have time and was a bit apprehensive about doing it incorrectly, so I told Avi about it and he came over the next day and changed it in under an hour. He also gave me some maintenance tips and things to look for. He was punctual, took his shoes off, worn a mask, used sanitizer, explained what he did and the warranty to me. Highly recommend!

AJ came and fixed my fridge same day i called him. He happened to have the part i needed in his truck so it was fixed within an hour. Very nice and good customer service. I would highly recommend AJ for all your appliance repairs.

I called AJ Appliance Repair not knowing anything about the company. AJ managed to fit me in for a same day service call on my dryer. The repair was fast and for a very reasonable price. AJ Appliance was the only one that responded, Avi contacted us right away and scheduled a visit to look at our dishwasher. arrived promptly on time, wore a mask the whole time during the visit and quickly figured out the issue and ordered the part we needed. within a few days, Avi was back and repaired our dishwasher. i would easily recommend Avi and his company. very happy with the outcome and the overall cost of the repair. beats speaking $500 plus for new appliance plus installation costs! I called Avi from AJ Appliance Repair one late afternoon and he was able to quickly set up an appointment for the very next morning. It was so great to get such a quick appt set up. Avi was very friendly, extremely professional and truly honest. He was up front and explained all the details in terms of cost of labour and parts. I'd described the issues I was having with my fridge and he told me a possible problem could be the defrost thermostat. He was also able to explained what the old thermostat would look like if it was defective. Sure enough it was the defrost thermostat that needed replacing on my Frigidaire Professional fridge. I'm so glad to have called AJ Appliance Repair for this service call and would not hesitate to recommend AJ Appliance Repair to any of my friends for service repairs. Note: A week after the first repair I had to call Avi to check out why my ice maker stopped working on the same fridge, not sure if it was due to the 1st repair. Avi was graciously enough to drop by to have a look and determined it was not related but was able to help defrost some ice build up on the water inlet tubes to the ice maker. and was able to unblock the tubes, it worked. Thank you so much Avi for coming out again and helping to fix the problem. I am so glad to have found you on HomeStars and I've already told all of my friends about you and your quick and reliable professional service.

Problem from my perspective: a burner element on our electric stove stopped functioning. As a result, the flattop glass cooling fan was active constantly because the control board believed the element was hot.

I went to another company initially for an assessment/repair. I consulted with Avi about my initial experience with this company explaining how they wouldn't troubleshoot — only simply removed the element to visual inspect. They stated it might be the element or the entire control board (not a confident assessment). In order for them to try a new part I'd have to purchase it, which I wasn't willing to do unless I knew it would fit the issue. They concluded their visit advising to buy a new stove.

Avi from AJ Appliance said that's not a fair experience for the consumer, and promised he would figure out the problem so we could make an informed decision. He provided quotes for a few scenarios then ordered the replacement element for my stove stating he'll try it and if it doesn't work he'll take it back.

Avi arrived at our scheduled time and started his thorough assessment of our stove, dismantling and inspecting. He was quickly able to identify a visibly burned out wire in the board to element connection. After a repair and little more troubleshooting it was evident the element also needed to be replaced. In doing so, the stove was functioning properly once again.

Both appliances were taken care of. He was very responsive and courteous. He took his time to answer our questions. Fair prices and honest. He will be our go-to appliance tech!! So many companies offer same day service but when you call they are booked up. I messaged AJ appliance and he was able to come out the same day. Did not overcharge. I would definitely recommend.
