Such a great guy. Treats his employees really well. Goes out of his way to do the work that you need. No wonder he has the outstanding reviews that he does.

I had a poor job done on the replacement of the shingles on my mansard roof a number of years ago, and shingles have been falling down for some time. I am not ready to have the whole roof redone because most of the shingles are secure, but getting someone to nail back a fallen shingle is very difficult. Companies aren’t interested in such a small job. Being s senior, I am wise enough to know that it is a bad idea ti do it myself. Tack was doing a major job on a house down the street, and we asked if they could come over and put back the shingle. I was willing to pay any reasonable price. They said they would come over when they had a chance and “settle up”.

The next day We heard banging on our roof. they had come over and reinstalled the shingle. I asked how much it was fir the work, and They replied that there was no charge. I I tried to pay them something, but they smiled and refused payment.

I can’t comment on the quality of their work based on a single shingle, but with their attitude towards their work they are the company that I want working on my property.

Back in January, I started the process of searching for a contractor to install vinyl siding, metal soffit and fascia to replace out existing rotten siding, soffit and fascia. Tack Construction was prompt at getting in touch with me and arranging a time that worked with my schedule to give me a quote. After a few months of searching for other contractors to get additional quotes (covid really slowed the process), I decided to hire Tack Construction for the project, as they were the most affordable, reachable, transparent and honest. Dustin laid out the scope of work and his labourer, Rob, did not vary from it. No corners were cut and they delivered on their promise. The quality of their work was above what I expected and I am extremely satisfied with the finished project. They cleaned up their workspace and always gave me an update at the end of each day. If you are looking to hire a siding contractor, you need to get a quote from Tack Construction at the very least, you won't be disappointed by their work.

Dustin was easy to work with, good communication and did good work on my project, I would highly recommend him to others.

Dustin gave me a fair estimate, started the work when scheduled and did an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable, and recommended the right product for my home. He and Rob cleaned up the site every day, and the finished product looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend Tack Construction, and would hire them again.

We needed emergency siding work on our house in winter 2020. We had a couple of quotes from other suppliers, but Dustin and his crew were willing and able to help us out in winter. They did a beautiful job, we are very happy with it. The work TACK Construction did was stunning and exceeded our expectations.

The job was extensive. They removed the old siding (and the older original siding underneath it), and the tentest. They also installed new waterproofing and added a 1" Enershield foam board for additional insulation. As an added bonus, they got rid of hundreds of wasp nests. (Ewwww). We have an older house, and they uncovered old building quirks with the ventilation and brought it up to code. He also replaced the lower window capping to match the renovations upstairs.

In spring 2021, we had ice damming under the new flashing, which damaged a ceiling. Dustin came right away, did an inspection, and he and his crew patched up and sealed the flashing. He also said he had a sub-contractor lined up to fix the ceiling. We are waiting for that. In the immortal words of Blondie, "call me." We are confident he will schedule us in soon. :-)

Called on Thursday, was on site next day for quote, started work on Monday and job was done the next day. Awesome experience.

So very pleased with the great job that Tack Construction services did replacing the shakes on the gable of my bungalow. They took care to make sure the install was done properly, went the extra length to make sure the fascia was secured properly and then cleaned up. Defiantly would recommend Them if you want it done right!
