We hired Ian to install insulation in our attic and add eavestroughs, soffits, and fascia. We chose Ian specifically because he was the only company willing to retrofit our soffits by knocking out bricks from a brick wall that went up to the roof line to provide some airflow. The price was also competitive.

While overall the work is of decent quality, communication was always an issue. Could not get solid dates, many texts and call went unanswered.

The eavestroughs now leak at two seems after half a year. Texted and called for follow up and we kept getting the run around. We're done bothering with him and will pay another company to fix this shoddy work.

Ian Hill's company replaced our roof after it was damaged by the Derecho storm that hit Ottawa in 2022. They did a superb job and we were very satisfied with our new roof. He spent time with us to advise on the best shingles to install. He also did an excellent job of cleaning up around our house after the job was complete including cleaning the eavestroughs. I highly recommend Ian Hill for your roof work.

Ian Hill Roofing in Carp is the most unprofessional company. Once he has your money your money he disappears. Would not provide pictures as part of receipt, doesn’t return phone calls, texts, or emails. Leaves his garbage behind. Overcharges. He doesn’t know what he is doing. Waste of money. Had another roofer come by and he couldn’t believe what little Ian did and how much he charged me. Fixed up his work for free. Guess he felt sorry for me. DON’T USE!
