Contacted Wido Window & Doors (Charlie Alba) April 2, 2018 regarding a double door replacement. He came back April 3, 2018 to measure and provide quote, signed agreement and provided 50% upfront. Doors arrived June 6, 2018 - wrong. Active door was to be right side/came with left door as the active door. Completely wrong hardware holes in door. Paid installers as per Charlie Alba from the money stilling owing him. Promised to provide correct doors ASAP....NOTHING after waiting 2 weeks I started emailing Charlie Alba (owner), no response. Then I started calling...nothing..he responded with text stating that my doors are in production..again silence. Beginning of July he replied via text putting blame on the factory - they are the problem according to him, he dropped by...gave me the order number with the factory and told me to call them...Thermoluxe. Spoke to Andrey there who I later found out was the owner (another person very poor customer service). Gave him the story told me that he had a meeting with Charlie and everything would be cleared up by the end of day....received a call from Andrey that same day and was informed that doors are in production and will be ready in a weeks time. Ya, that did not happen. Doors were ready but Andrey then turned the cards and blamed Charlie Alba and guess who got stuck in their argument - only way that Andrey would release my doors was if I paid him more money (not just the balance owned to Charlie). So upset with my conversation with Andrey - very demeaning man...threw the 'do you know who i am line'. Long story short agreed to pay the extra just to put this nightmare to rest. Attempted to contact Wido Window & Doors August 1/18 one more time, at which time Charlie Alba responded stating that I should not pay a penny more to Andrey (Thermoluxe) that he will take care of everything...that was the last I heard from him. My doors were completed finally August 17, 2018. Do not recommend either of these companies...stay clear of both.
