My husband and I worked with Dennis Contracting for our Kitchen renovation. It was our first ever renovation project, and Trevor, Spencer and the crew were always available for questions (there were many), concerns (there were also many) and of course changes. The project was completed on time and we are thrilled with the way it turned out and will enjoy it for years to come. I would not hesitate to work with Dennis Contracting for our future projects and would recommend them to anyone looking to hire a quality & reliable Contractors!

We worked with Dennis contracting over the course of 3 years as we renovated our house in stages. At the end of the initial reno, which included gutting and renovating everything but the basement, including an addition to the back of the house, we were so pleased with the level of professionalism and the quality of their work that we decided to work with them again in building the garage a year later, and more recently finishing our basement. Spencer and Trevor (the Dennis brothers) are very easy to work with and communicate. They are always responsive and quick to address any issues that may arise. The key issue for us was feeling that we could trust them all along the renovation process. They are honest, hard working and very detail-oriented in their work. We have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so. A very positive experience both during the process as well as with the final product. They are also very quick to respond and address any issues that arose after they finished each project (which were only minor).

Great attention to detail, Trevor and Spencer are fabulous people to work with, a step above any other major contractors that I had worked with. Very professional, approachable and most importantly team members and trades of very high quality.

Trevor, Spenser and their team were great to work with. The quality of the work was very good. When it came down to making decisions they provided helpful suggestions. They followed up with their work to ensure everything was working well.

The work was very well done, meticulous, even. All the workers and tradespeople were easy to work with and obviously took pride in the quality of the work. They consulted with me whenever needed and I felt very comfortable asking questions and/or giving my input to the project. I especially appreciated the professionalism of the company, from the business aspect (quotes, contract, payment, etc.) to construction and decorating ideas they were able to provide.

Overall it was an amazing experience working with Dennis contracting to build our home. My wife and I purchased an older home built and stuck in the 50’s. It needed a lot of TLC and some good architectural vision to bring it up to today’s standards. It’s was a complete gut and rebuild almost from the ground up. Prior to purchasing the home we brought Trevor in to assess the home from the inside out and give us his feedback on what could be done. Working with Trevor right from the start quickly gave us a sense of what could be done in the timeframe and budget we were working with, to transform the house and meet our expectations. Once we felt comfortable with his assessment we made an offer and ended up purchasing the house at which point the real fun began. These guys are amazingly organized and proficient. They acquired all necessary permits, drawings and secured any subtrades. They presented a project plan outlining the different stages of the build, costs and decision points. We had regular onsite visits to agree, change or modify as needed the overall plan. My wife loved the words modify/change. As the house progressed so did my wife’s wants and vision. These things happen but what was most important is how quickly Trevor was able to adjust and accommodate so as not to impact the overall timing of the build. Very important to me because during the build, my wife our 2 kids and I were living with my mom so staying on track with the timing of the build was imperative to us. Dennis contracting did not disappoint. We literally got the keys +/- a week from what was originally planned! As for the final details we cannot say enough. All trades that they brought in were highly skilled very professional and the final look exceeded our expectations. Within the first year the guys were back and forth a few times fixing up minor details with settling which is normal and expected but overall no major issues after we moved in. I know there are a ton of contractors out there who do good work but for us it came down to trust, character and integrity. The work speaks for itself. Friends of ours shortly after hired them to do a similar build and couldn’t be happier for it. Thanks Trevor, Spensor Barry and crew Job well done. Hopefully we can do it all over again someday.
