John, Scott and crew were friendly and professional from first point of contact right through to collecting all their (free) boxes once we'd unpacked. Their quote was competitive and reasonable and not padded/inflated with "extras". In fact they included for no change limitless boxes, bubble wrap, paper, saran wrap, wardrobe boxes, mattress covers etc etc and collected it all afterwards (including garbage bags full of used bubble wrap etc). We had one day of packing then next day of moving. The effort, stamina and work ethic of the crew was astonishing. Barely a minute of down time - I had to encourage them to take a break. Moving can be stressful, but our stress melted away with J&J managing our move. Will use them next time, for sure.

This was the second time I have used J&J Moving in the last couple of years. On both occasions John gave me a reasonable price and a date and time for the move. Scotty and his helper showed up on time and were very efficient and courteous. They took good care in wrapping the furniture and moving it from my house to the delivery location. Both times the move worked like clockwork.
I have no hesitation in using their services again and/or recommending them.

Highly recommend J&J moving - they arrived on time and completed our 3 bedroom move to a storage unit in great time. Everything was wrapped and moved carefully and wouldnt hesitate to use them again in the future! Also significantly better price compared to a lot of other companies I got quotes from.

Needed furniture moved for renovation. Crews from J&J moved 3 bedroom, desk and bookshelves to first floor and then back to 2nd floor after renovation.

Both crews did an excellent job. Moves went off without a hitch!

The greatest damage was done to my hardwood floors which were all scratched up, my front closet doors that were chipped all along the trim, and my front entrance door that had three large dents. This damage was the direct result of the owner, John, not taking my move seriously and thus not planning properly. He hung his crew out to dry by assigning them a job that was too big and a truck that was too small. He then hung ME out to dry by leaving me with damage that he has no intention of compensating me for. I experienced a bit of a soft heart for the crew because they were clearly in over their heads and overwhelmed with the size and scope of the job that I clearly informed John about. For this reason, I only sought damages a few months later, when I attempted to repair the entrance door but learned that it was irreparable. I was NOT even pursuing compensation for the damage to my floors, closet doors, foosball table, leather couches etc. Still, John refuses to be held financially accountable to any degree for the consequences of his carelessness. For a fraction of the cost of fixing the damage, I could have gone with a larger, more professional moving company that was up for the task.

Was a great choice to hire the professionals over assuming I could get it all done by myself if the help of friends - The Movers are extremely friendly and accommodating - point to what you need moved and its gone. Kept within my budget and timeframe ! Amazing work guys thank you so much

J&J did an outstanding job on our move. The team worked really hard, took great care of our possessions, and got things done in exceptionally good time.

I want to start by saying the crew was really nice but made huge mistakes. We hired this company with the promise that they had insurance. Stuff was not wrapped by the crew (even though John the owner claims it was). The crew finished, we paid and they rushed out as it was a very long day for them.
Our issue is with the owner John. The next day I reached out to him explaining there was damage done to furniture and walls. He right away became defensive and argumentative. He offered $300 cash but we explained that the chair they broke was worth $200 alone. We preferred to go threw insurance annd since they are a small business we couldnt understand why they would want to pay out of pocket if they have been paying into insurance. He kept saying that our move was not profitable for him as if we should feel bad and ignore the fact that our stuff got damaged in the process. After weeks of going back and forth in emails he basically accused us of making stuff up and has refused to submit to insurance. Im willing to bet that he has no insurance. I really dont know how this company has won so many awards and its extremely upsetting that we were treated the way we were.

The crew we had for moving a 3 person household within the GTA was punctual, professional, friendly and well prepared for the task. Items were carefully wrapped and moved. No obvious damage noted in any of furniture or belongings. The crew were great and it was a relief that this aspect of our move was stress free. Wed definitely use them again and would recommend J&J moving in a heart beat. Thanks to John for the coordination of the crew.
