Fix It Right Garage Doors

Wanted to start by saying how easy it was dealing with Fix it Right Garage Doors. Dan arrived for the scheduled appointment and proceeded to fix my badly damaged, old garage door. His patience and attention to detail was second to none. From beginning to end, I have only positive things to say about Dan and his exceptional service. Call them first for any garage door needs, you wont need to call anyone else.

I commend this company for their reasonable pricing, and prompt visit to attend to our garage door problems. Joseph was professional, personable, kind, very helpful, prompt, and knowledgeable. In short, an asset to the company. I have no trouble in recommending them for their outstanding accommodations to our needs.

I was having recurring issues with my garage door opener not closing and flashing code . It looked to me like the door was pulling unevenly as one cable seemed looser than the other when up .
I made an appointment to have a tech come and diagnose the issue . Dan showed up for the appointment. After I described the issue ( of course it worked when he arrived ) he checked the cable and said that wasnt the issue . I created a situation where the door went into non functioning mode and code flashed . He reset the door sensors and all seems fine now .
Fingers crossed!
Thanks to Dan for hopefully fixing the issue and not upselling me on retensioning the cables at an additional cost .

I recently called Fix it Right after dealing with ongoing issues with our garage door opener, which even after replacing with a new unit, was jamming on a regular basis. I called on a Sunday afternoon and by Monday mid-day, they sent a technician, Joseph, to diagnose the issue. Joseph called in advance so I knew when he'd arrive within the two-hour window provided and upon arrival quickly assessed the problem. In the end, I ultimately needed a new garage door to prevent the issue from occuring again. Joseph was not pushy and took the time to go over the options and pricing with me, and to describe the key differences I'd notice with a new door that would address the original problem I called for. Within 48 hours from there, the new door was installed, which took just a few hours total. Overall, I am impressed with the customer service, including the prompt responses, diagnosis of the issue and installation, not to mention the quality of the new door itself. Highly recommend!

Our garage door stopped working and I noticed that one of the springs had broke. I called Fix It Right and Daniel quoted that the cost of labor and materials to replace the spring would be $250.
When Shawn and his partner came over, to my surprise, they informed that always BOTH springs need to be replaced at the same time, something Daniel never mentioned over the phone= (+ $250). On top of that, my garage door apparently was commercial grade and there would be an added labor fee on top of the regular spring replacement costs (+ $100).
The GOOD: The technicians themselves are really knowledgeable, the service was fast (they came on the next day) and the garage door was fixed. They levelled my door, lubricated the chain (I asked for it) and the new springs are backed up by a 5ys warranty.
The BAD: Incorrect info provided during the phone quote and price gouging (extras charged) during the visit.
Improvement idea: Inform customers both springs should be replaced together, explain potential extras over the phone (or give a price range).

So I didn't notice in the morning my garage door didn't open all the way to the top. Something I took for granted. So as I backed I lightly hit the lower panel but enough to make it bend in a couple of spots. Called a company up and the guy came in and told me I had to get a new door for arounf $4000. I asked if it could be repaired he said not really. But he sent me three quotes and called the repair option "Mickey Mouse Job" in the email. I then called Fix It Right for comparison. The young man who came did a quick assessment. And while not offering guarantees, he and his partner repaired the lower panel quickly and efficiently that day. The door looks great and works. I am very happy with the work and service.

Very professional garage door installers. Sahar provided a competitive quote for installing two new garage doors and had them installed with the week. Service was top notch, and everything went off without a hitch. Very impressed with my 2 new garage doors!

Quick and cheerful service. I used them once to fix my old garage door a few years ago and then, when it failed again, called them back. They gave me advice I could trust and pointed out the longer-term benefit of replacing the old doors with a new system in a way that I didn't feel like I was being oversold. They were back to install the new doors in a couple of days and the installers worked TIRELESSLY to get it done.
