Summit Contractors

We selected Summit to renovate our main bathroom as we had a very particular design and plan in mind, which required a detail-oriented approach. After an initial site-visit and quote, we signed on with Summit and began purchasing the materials for our design. When we had questions about specifications for some of the products, we would email Arash for clarity, and he was able to provide a response.

Construction began as scheduled, and the demolition was done cleanly and quickly. The floors and stairs leading to the bathroom were protected with sheets throughout, which we appreciated. The dry wall and flooring were prepared with an eye for detail and accuracy, to ensure straight lines and angles, and Nima would check in whenever he had questions about the work. Our bathroom is fairly small, and Summit was able to remove and reduce unnecessarily bulkheads to open up the space as we had hoped.

Waterproofing was provided for the shower, and we requested a shower niche as well. The tile-work is some of the best I have seen - the tiler went above and beyond to ensure a seamless look for our fish-scale tiles in the shower; this is definitely my favourite part of the bathroom. Though there were some issues with the plumbing, Arash was able to get it sorted and stay on schedule. The shower glass was custom-cut to size, and care was taken to ensure that all bathroom fixtures were appropriately centred - all of this contributes to a very polished look.

Due to circumstances outside of his control, Arash was not able to be as present as he typically would which caused some communication challenges for us at certain points, but despite this, the overall the project remained on-budget and on-schedule, and was completed to our satisfaction. We would therefore recommend Summit.

Ultimately, if you are looking for a more affordable project, this might not be the option for you, but if you are looking for detail-oriented and customized work, Summit will be able to deliver.
