Shortly after signing on another company offered a better service(more options) at a cheaper rate. Vivint was unwilling to negotiate but let me know the felt “really bad” and gave me a $5 discount for 6 months.
Recently my smart lock stopped working. After 30 mins of the tech attempting to get the kick working by walking me through the process, they decided the lock was broke and said they would send me a new one in 7 business days. They they will instruct me on how to install it. I thought that was unacceptable and requested they send one of their technicians to repair/replace the lock. They said that could be arranged but I would need to pay for the repair.
This is their system and I am still locked into a contract paying for a system that is not working properly. I again let them know how unhappy I am with their company and I will be canceling my contact as soon as I can without any penalties. They again let me know how sorry they are that I am not happy. Useless!!!!
