patio stones installed, garage floor resurfaced

We were very disappointed with this company. It was expensive and they did not do a good job on either of the two projects. They put a layer of concrete over our existing garage floor, and four long cracks developed within two months. Their fix was to hide the cracks with a layer of epoxy paint. The patio was worse. They assured us they could lay the stones on sand over our existing patio. The grout didn't set properly and although they eventually sent a worker to try to fix it, in both cases they were relatively inexperienced and lacked supervision. The owner says he will "try" come back next year, but will not put that in writing. Very poor.

Approximate cost of services:
$18,000.00

Company Response

Let us first say that we appreciate feedback as it allows us to grow and improve as a company. That said, the best and most constructive feedback is honest feedback. Please allow us to address your concerns below.

With regards to the concrete floor, you were presented with 2 options. The 1st and more costly of which was that we could rip out the whole garage floor and pour an entirely new floor. The 2nd and less expensive option was that we could pour a 5 inch layer of concrete on top of the existing floor to enhance and preserve its integrity, but with the caveat that it would likely develop hairline cracks which would be a cosmetic concern and not a functional one. You chose option 2. In 3 months we were called back to look at the hairline cracks which we had stated initially was a possibility having gone with the cheaper option of repair over replacement. You were offered two options to address this issue free of charge. The 1st was the cutting of four expansion joints and the 2nd was that we could epoxy the floor. You chose the epoxy. Regarding the overlay of interlock on your existing concrete patio and your concerns with drainage, the issue was your eavestrough which was causing undue and excessive water accumulation. Though not an issue of our creation, and again one which we had expressed as a concern from the outset, we offered you a solution free of charge. We value our clients and aim to assist them wherever possible. Sadly, you were unhappy with the timeline we gave you.

We appreciate your business but we are very disappointed by the dishonesty of your review.

Warm Regards

LT Integrity.
