FRIDGE STARTED MAKING LOUD BANGING NOISES. REPAIRMAN CAME AS SCHEDULED AND SAID IT WAS PROBABLY THE COMPRESSOR BUT THAT IT WAS NOT WORTH FIXING AS IT WOULD PROBABLY BE CHEAPER TO REPLACE THE FRIDGE. I REALLY APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY AND SUGGESTIONS. WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

Freezer part of Bosch fridge stopped working. Capital appliance tech assessed, said there was a freon leak. A separate technician would need to come, investigate the source of leak and fix. Cost of $1200. I asked what was involved in the fix, and he said it could take several hours for them to find the source of the leak.
When the gas tech came, he was there for less than 30 min, installed more freon and did not look for source of leak or try to fix. He said that the top up should work, he presumed for years (as it was years before we developed the initial problem....although who knows when the leak actually started).
They still wanted $1200 for the 25 min visit.
I ended up paying another company $450 to have a guy come and actually repair the freezer.

Had a disappointing experience with Capital Appliance Repair when they serviced my broken microwave. Technicians were punctual, but appeared focused on collecting the service fee without thoroughly assessing the issue. They suggested an excessive repair estimate of $474.78, emphasizing the need to replace all microwave door switches. Feeling I was being deceived and over charged, I paid the service fee, only to find a more reasonable $43 switch solution later. Actual repair took 45 minutes, far from the excessive estimate provided by Capital.

This is the 2nd time Capital Appliance Repair has come to our rescue and we are very impressed with their service ! I needed a part for my dryer and was told it was discontinued, but Victor was able to source it out. He is knowledgeable and efficient. He got the job done in a timely manner. Thank you Victor

Web site indicates that they service LG appliances. Called to have a service done in LG refrigerator. Not cooling. Service tech arrived, looked at fridge and stated that compressor would need replacement. Capital cannot replace LG compressor as only authorized service company. It would have been prudent of the service desk to let me know that if it was a compressor issue (no cooling is a common result of compressor issue) that they could not repair it. Instead, I get charged a service call that I would not have done had I known they did not fully service LG fridge. Misleading advertising.

Called on Dec.22.2022 for a simple oven element replacement, came by only on Dec.24th to take only a picture, told part and install on Dec.27, but dont show up and told then they would call supplier only next day, why waste time like this and opposite to what originally told, I could have had it all done same day with another company. Sinful.

Technician Yuri went above and beyond. He diagnosed the problem with our fridge quickly, and was back with the part the next day (after another client cancelled). Fridge is working fine, and not part of the landfill!

French door fridge with bottom freezer stopped cooling. Capital Appliance sent a repairman on same day. Yuri arrived as scheduled and very quickly diagnosed problem as a relay and within half an hour the repair was completed in a very professional manner and with careful observance of Covid safety practices. Would highly recommend.

Drain was blocked, called Capital Appliance and i got appointment very quickly despite the holidays. Technician came and provide a very efficient and professional service at a fair price. This saved me 1500$ and precious time as I don't need a new fridge!
